usually you don't even need to start checking trichs until all or most of the pistils have changed color and receded.. some people never check the trichs

totally understandable, just be careful how you handle them when checking, you can damage the trichs and then the next time you check you may get a false positive from previous handling

Good news, you're at a point where the weed will be smokable. You want to see those white hairs turn orange and recede, and keep in mind what you're seeing on the outside is the oldest, most mature part of the bud. Give her time and she will reward you with more weight and potency.

Yes, trikes are still clear. I definitely know that having a stash on hand makes patience with your current grow easier. They will swell up and thicken quite a bit in the coming weeks. You’ll be psyched!

Yours are in the "Half clear" phase of ripening. That said you probably have another 5-10 days until they're mostly cloudy.
