Just got some clones...need advice on lightining range and wattage

I got some clones yesterday. I set them up in my grow tent.

I have a 1000w light, but the ballast I have I can control the power(can dim to as much as 80% meaning the light will only put out 200w)

Right now I have it at 600w with the reflector at about 5 feet up.

Does that sound about right or should I change wattage or how far away the reflector is?

And yes this is my first time ever doing this

At this point you clones only need 5-6hund foot candles. you should be fine with the setup you have. just make sure to keep that light as close as possible during flowering. Good luck!
