Just harvested my first grow, here's the result (pics)

After 12 weeks of taking care of these girls I finally harvested them. They still needed a few more weeks but we are having a routine inspection on our house tomorrow so I gotta get rid of everything and hide my yield. Still, I think the final product was very decent, especially for my first grow. I don't have a large scale so I can't weigh it, I was hoping you guys can help me estimate the weight by eyeballing.

These were some mystery seeds I got from a friend so I don't know the strain but they stink like really sweet mango. I had a MH and a HPS 400W light, I'm getting two more of these for my next grow.

Great job man. That one is a beast. My guess would be 10 zips for both plants. What kind of nutes did you use? For your first grow you did awesome. Rep to ya!

Cant really tell from the wet weight you will lose about 70% overall yeild when dry so do the math on that, Nothing better than saving a few$$ lol enjoy bro

I just finished drying and weighted them before putting em in a big jar. It's about 9 oz. of dry weight, which I think it's awesome for my first grow on only 400W of light. I'm trying a few buds tonight...can't wait!

they dont look even close to done friend, they still need at least 2 more weeks, you can hang them all up like that but cant grow them with the inspection? seems about the same thing...good job and best of luck, next time let them finish!

I got all my equipment out of the house and hid my yield inside my car during the inspection, once my landlord and the inspector were gone i hung them to dry up but yeah i wish i could've had more time to let them finish. I'll plan it better next time

I have a big ass dehumidifier and an electric heater so i put both of them in the drying room to keep the humidity very low and the temp around 85F and they dried super fast. I'm about to go buy a humidity reader to put inside the jar and do a nice cure ;)

Wow... Great job growing... It seems a shame that your game got screwed by that inspection... Hope ur buds don't smell too much like hay after that dry :(

Your first grow,...great job. Few more weeks would`ve been nice but it is what it is now.

I don`t see any yellow leaves, just healthy plants,..you took good care with your grow and got that green thumb gene !!

Thanks man, I put so much time and effort into it to make sure the plants were healthy and had everything they needed. It feels awesome to see the result of all that hard work. I guess I have enough to last till summer!

Wow, amazing yield man. I'm at the end of my 2nd year of growing with twin 400 watt lights and I dont yield anything remotely close to that kind of weight. I'm limited to about 6 feet total in height in my basement growroom, but still, thats a hell of a yield.

If you dried 9 ounces in one day...with a heater...curing your bud isn't likely to do much for the flavor. You effectively trapped chlorophyll in your buds. Personally I would have put the wet buds in paper sacks in my car during the inspection then continued a slow dry. I am sure you will still get high though so enjoy.

Yeah I had no idea the buds were gonna dry so fast with the dehumidifier and the heater, I was expecting it to dry faster but I was aiming for 4 days at least, not barely two...I guess these are the kind of dumb mistakes one makes during first grows but like someone else said, it is what it is and i'm sure i'll get a lot of fun out of it
