just started growing about 4 weeks ago, all from seed. Is their any way to tell male from female befor flowering? 13 plants and 2 of them are growing way faster then the rest, by a lot about 3 inches taller then the rest, could it just be the strain or possible male???

You can induce preflowering during vegging or flower a clone of a plant to see what sex it is but there's no for-sure way to determine sex without growing flowers.

You can always flower long enough to determine sex then reveg

by saying this, your saying theres no way at all? ive been able to sex my plants once there tall enough to start showing, i disagree with ur post, a 3-4 week plant without flowering at all showed the balls not pistils hairs and was running 18/6 for veg so not even close to 12/12
