Just Made a new bong (wondering if it is safe)

KK well i was going through the boxes at my house with a friend who was helping me move when we noticed a clay like vase thing i made for my parents back in grade 9. It was painted with some sort of shinny paint i don't know what but it was kind of grayish. After finding this we thought it would make a good bong. We went through my tools and found a ratchet piece to use for a bowl and began drilling into the side. It fit perfectly so we drilled a choke up higher. Its the perfect bong. Small, Huge hits (used it once already), looks cool, perfect bowl size. I was just wondering if it was safe. I am pretty sure that smoking out of clay is safe but it was the paint i was the most worried about.

I would think that its allright to use if you have a socket as the bowl, but if your lighter is on the paint well i think it would be bad. but it does sound like a pretty tight bong

aslong as there is no paint being burned or inside the bong you should be fine

You'd probably poison yourself more now days, what with the cheap Asian made shit and the lead paintWhen you were young shit was safe.....
