It looks pretty pale to me and I always think that pale means it's underfed but my EC is at 1000, which seems kind of high for a seedling in my thinking. I'm still learning so maybe that's wrong!she's looking pretty hungry there
oh damn, yeah that's pretty high for a seedling. I was staying around 400 at that height/size. Like ~300 ppm's at .5 scale. It looks pretty pale to me and I always think that pale means it's underfed but my EC is at 1000, which seems kind of high for a seedling in my thinking. Hmm, the humidity is usually around 50%. It did drop over night to 20% last week when the humidifier spazzed out on me. But it's back and running.
Hmm, I hadn't considered that. It has a carbon filter, but I perhaps it needs changed. I've always ran RO water through it but haven't really done anything else to avoid spores! I did clean it really well recently, but I don't know if that would make a difference.I've lived in the desert and have used all kinds of humidification systems. One commonality is that maintenance and cleaning is required to make them safe. Do you follow any maintenance protocols? You could be spewing spores at your plants...is what I'm getting at.

The ones I used needed to be sanitized periodically using bleach. Just track down the manufacurer's instructions.Hmm, I hadn't considered that. It has a carbon filter, but I perhaps it needs changed.
