Just me or is this....better??

I have grown out two different strains, that where from bagseed in New Jersey...They both came from the same person, and they both came from a bag I bought. Now when smoking these two strains...



These are sort of like a review of the strains when I smoked them from a street bought bag o weed.


Strain 1 :

Known As : KindBud or KB
potency : Better then Midgrade weed, but almost as good as street bought Haze...
High : Sativa like head high.
Smell : Strong, Pungent, Earthy
Taste : Spicy, Tasty, MMmmm Good


Strain 2 :

Known As : Pineapple
potency : Head Ache weed...got ya high for about...45 mins to an hour off a gram...not too great.
High : Sativa/Indica mix...wasn't so great very short lived. After the throat heals from the nastiness of this bud, the high is intense for about 20 minutes...then leaves ya over the next 1/2 hour or so...prettty dissappointing
Smell : PINEAPPLES....smelled EXACTLY LIKE A PINEAPPLE...not one scent of weed.
Taste : Dirty, Harsh, Dry

Now my first grow, I grew out one of each of these strains. ( Only reason I grew out the pineapple, is because i got a bag of seeds, no weed, just seeds from a good friend who moves about a LB or so a week. And part of his hustle was removing seeds. lol ) Anyway, the KB was really good when I grew it out, much better then the bud in the bag i scavenged these seeds from, and the pineapple was pretty damn good too! The pineapple had a nice fruity smell but it wasnt an overpowering pineapple smell, just a citrusy-sweet? smell. Any way If I were to compare MY GROW to the Bags that the seeds came from

STRAIN~~~BAG~~GROW

KB~~~~~~7~~~~8.5

pineapple ~2~~~~~7


So all in all, Basically what I am asking is it just me or does anyone else have any experiance with being able to grow much better bud from the bagseeds, then what the bag was in the first place?

This is very normal, because most commercial growers pick their bud a little bit early. They also usually do not put a lot of care into it like a home-grower would. So unless you have a very good grower, your bud will usually be better than the bud it came from.

Did the dude have a large scale op. If so, he probably didnt put enough individual care into each plant like kieahtoka said. I would think he would try to save money and skip on the ferts and PH care. Why spend money when hes just gonna sell the shit anyway.

He pulled a little more then a pound a week. Could have been not wanting to waste money! If only commercial growers knew what a little T.L.C. could do for the cash value of there bags lol. Now if only I could come up with that type of setup lmao!

Dont do it man. You gotta stay above all the shit dealers do to us innocent smokers. I noticed you said he weighs down his bags with seeds. Thats BULLSHIT if you ask me. I cant stand that crap. I would rather pay extra money for good shit then get some garbage.

No, I got a BAG OF SEEDS from him, no bud, it was a going away present as he has known that I have wanted to grow for a few years, just wanted to wait till I moved out of the parents house. His bags were always good, for me at least. We have been friends since childhood so.
