Just one plant is struggling, not sure why

Hey everyone. I currently have 12 plants going in a 5x10 using an Arden emerald hammer led and an AC Infinity ionframe evo8 led. Other than a few minor setbacks everything's doing decent enough at the moment except one plant looks to be struggling a bit. I took this one out to do some low stress training so I had a chance to take some more pics without the led on it. It's not in too bad of shape by any means but clearly not at 100%. Even after a watering the leaves are always drooping like this. If anyone has any guesses that would be great, thanks!20241116_115110.jpg20241116_115105.jpg

well mate(or lady), you failed to provide any info to help us guess the issue. grow medium, ferts, etc. I'll say you got 2 slouchers and one barely off the couch. all those in line with the one you're pointing out. Are those all the same strain? Those look like 7gallon pots, are you saturating them?? Bc my initial thought was over watered. If their root systems, by chance, haven't fully extended throughout and you're fully saturating that soil, it could impede the roots breathability - they need oxygen also. I don't imagine the grow is old enough yet to have pH issues in your medium.

Appreciate the responses, sorry about the lack of info. They are basically all different strains, the one in question being a nori cake. All in fox farm ocean forest and I just feed with fox farm big bloom which I've been feeding far less than what they recommend on the bottle. I water every other day somewhere around 1/3 of a gallon per plant and feed usually every 3rd or 4th watering. The light is an ac infinity evo8 and in the manual they recommend 18" above at 80% during veg and I've been keeping it 20" above the tallest plant at 80%

So, I will say the bitch about watering is over and under look very similar. Your stems/branches are straight, but the leaves are limp = over watered symptoms. Now why they aren't taking up water is the question, because if you truly are only watering 1/3rd a gal every 2-3 or even 4 days, they shouldn't be over watered. How often are you watering/feeding? is it every other day at 1/3rd gallon? That would easily lead to over watered. Again digging for specifics.

Also, hell with the recommendations, I mean...they will keep you from killing a plant normally, but idk about helping it flourish because every strain and pheno can like slightly different nutes and treatment. That light looks 3 feet away, hell of a distance.. wouldn't hurt to find out rough ppfd that you're blasting over them. If you don't have the dollars for a legit one from amazon - $40-100+, I use the app Photone on a Pixel 6a with a piece of white printer paper as a diffuser over the face camera. I checked my lights which the ppfd chart they came with said at 100%, 18" away, 657 ppdf. Using photone setup as I said, it was reading 649-661. That's pretty damn accurate IMO for free shit. Anyways, I imagine as long as your phone isn't 4+ years old you should be able to get similar results.

TLDR: How often do you feed/water this 1/3rd gallon? Download Photone for free PPFD(google if you don't know) reading using front facing camera WITH a diffuser, white piece of printer paper works just fine.

Damn thanks for all the time you're putting into this i really appreciate it. So yeah I have a 2 gallon watering container I use for my 6 plants every other day. I was doing every 3rd watering I'd add nutes but seeing they weren't fully healthy I backed off and am now doing every 4th watering I feed. The arden led in the back is my friends side and the ac infinity in front is my side which I have 20" from the tallest plant and at 80%. I will for sure download photone and check that out and i also got a ph tester I'm going to use tomorrow just to make sure the water's alright just in case.

Also not sure if this could potentially be a sign of what's going on but I noticed these lines on the stems of the plant in question, never seen these on any plants before.

Honestly, I tend to always get some purple lining, or purple leaf stems(petioles) in my grows. Idk if its my custom medium I made on a $20 budget or what. Anyways I've been told it's a phosphorus deficiency, but there's also many strains nowadays that get the purple petiole. Since you're in Happy Frog Ocean...can't imagine there being a deficiency, from what I've read that soil is more prone to cause excess/burns.

So how many days since your last watering/feeding? What do they look like today? I went and looked at your previous photos to refresh, and your soil looks very dark/damp. Was that first pic the day of watering?? It again points to over watering, my recommendation is if they are over watered, wait till the top 2, maybe 3 inches of soil are dry. Check a few spots. I've come to look for the slightest droop/limpness in lower branches/leaves to judge when to water. Have had better flow/less hiccups this grow because of it.

Yeah by the looks of it i had just watered right before taking those original pics. I watered/fed yesterday afternoon which was just 4 teaspoons of ff grow big in the 2 gallons of water split between the 6 plants.

This is them now. They're not in terrible shape by any means. I'm just hoping to have them be as healthy as possible going into flowering, even though that's still a little ways away.

well you're correct in a sense, they aren't terrible, but they certainly aren't good. I hope those are photo's my friend. I haven't grown auto's besides my current auto that is halfway through flower. But I've heard stunted growth impacts auto's yield a lot more than a photo because the auto is on its own personal timetable for when it quits growing. Stunted growth w/photo = more veg time, no problem. Autos= healthy growth time lost. So I've read and been told growmie :blsmoke:.

I've got my own personal gauge for fan leaves.
Worst to Best:
  1. limp leaves that look like wilting curtains
  2. moderately limp but still maintaining shape
  3. flat to lights
  4. slightly erect to lights
  5. praying upward as erect as a the first time I saw a set of tits.
Your leaves are at 2. All I'd recommend right now is let them dry out some. Besides the top 2 inches of soil feeling dry, you should see the soil pull slightly back from the fabric pot edge. Best luck
