Hi everyone, so I've gone through 4 grows with my Cool Cab, but now I want to make my life easier and more efficient so I went with the BloomBox Royale Combo. I'm patiently waiting for its arrival :weed:

Nice, hope it works out for you. I was looking into them when I thought I was going to be moving into an apartment complex but I got this duplex with a huge basement so plans changed.

Nice set up, purchased the exact same thing back in September. Works great, I made a couple of small adjustments after the first time through, but overall, it really does simplify the set-up. Happy growing

Hey Man, Looks great, I'm interested in getting one soon myself!

I have some questions for you if you don't mind.

1. Do you live in an apartment, if so was if difficult to get it in your building and to your apartment and into the room where you have it now? Did you have an issues?

2. Does it make allot of noise, can you hear it throughout your home?

3. Do visitors question to box? If you have a landlord would you be worried if they came into your apartment?

4. Where do you get seeds or clones to start your grow?

5. Does it seem to stand out? or does it blend in well with your stuff?

6. Have you thought of good ideas to make it more stealth?

Without getting to specific I had to take a door off to get it in my house. As far as stealth if it's in view of your guests they will ask! As far as sound it doesn't bother me, I don't even pay attention to it. You can get seeds online from places like Attitude Seeds or Nirvana. If you live in an apartment and your landlord comes in he/she might ask what it is. Then you'll have to be creative on what it is :blsmoke: This one time I put a sheet over it and that works for the short term, e.g. landlord comes in but I own my place so no worries there. But truly this setup is ideal for a separate bedroom or a part of your house where guests will not be entering if you want to keep a low profile. I don't have to many people over to my home except for very close friends and family and even then that's too many people ;-)

There is a piece of glass separating the bulb from the actual plants. There are two fans in the enclosed part to cool the bulb. One brings in cool air and the other sucks out the hot air. In theory this is the cooling system.

Hey man, thanks for your answers, I'm a bit worried about having to remove a door to get it in my apartment, because I can't do that!! BCNL told me that it's possible to fit through a doorway but now I'm worried.

If I get it I think that I will put it in room that not many people would see unless I let them, and if the landlord had to come in I would put a sheet over it like you suggested or a blanket and put pictures or something on it to disguise it. Also, landlords normally only come in to look around if you're moving out and need to show the place, and at the time I would make sure to have it empty and disguised it as a table or something. I wouldn't have many people over either, and if I did I would make that room off limits to guests I don't want in there.

As far as stealth, not very. If people are anywhere near it, they will ask. Mine is in my basement, and it still is loud enough to hear. Fortunately standing above it in the kitchen, it sounds like the refrigerator humming.

Af far as adjustments, I built a frame to support the bottom of it and put it up on blocks. I got sick of bending over to look into it. Also, since the pump doesn't really empty the whole res, I cut a hole in the floor of the cabinet, as well as the res, and put a bulkhead fitting and hose on the bottom of the res. Now I don't even have to open the door to drain it, and everything comes out with the flip of a valve. I also added a couple more T5's for bottom side lighting. It helps keep the bottom leaves green.

Also, I live where it is extremely cold out right now, and my basement is a stone and mortar. Pretty drafty too, I exhausted the air from the light area into the veg area. This way, the warm air circulates throughout the box. My basement can get down to 50 F at night, stunted the plants big time.

So if it's not in a temp controlled room the box will only be as cool as it's surroundings correct?
