I was planning on going away for a bit well not that long but possibly about 32 to 48 hours....My plants have not been in the dark yet so...plus I've been veggin for about 8 weeks give or take 3 or 4 days, more give than take, hell that's not even true since they've been getting mostly window light since being brought in from outside about 2 weeks after they first sprouted. So I guess you would call that mostly indirect lighting.

But anyway I turned the lights on planning to give them a few hours and I mean a few at best 3 hours of light and heading out and letting them in the dark...now there would be absolutely no light interruption until I come back is this going to present a problem?

And yes I've read about the dark period so I'm thinking it may not be a problem except that I may have made a huge mistake because of course I'll be interrupting my light cycle at this point by already having put the lights on.
And no I don't have a timer. I'd planned on getting that in a bit but it's not in my budget at this point.

Stupid newbies and just planning on seeing what happens never thinking anythings goin' to come out o' it. And then getting the duds! :cuss:

Put the plants on 12/12 cycle after I got home. The plants were a little wilted so I watered them.

I def. made a huge mistake however and did an over nute.
At least that is what I'm guessing is the problem. The only thing I did differently other than the light issue.

Some of the leaves on the bottom curled up and actually dried up and other leaves turned a reddish brown. But the rest of the plant looks good at least from what I can tell.

I flushed both plants and made sure they drained well. I also took both of the bottoms off of the potters. I'll post pictures soon.
