You've all heard me rant and rave about jack's 3-2-1 lately after switching from general hydroponics. I've ranted and raved because the flavor, resin production, burn qualities, and potency have all improved. I'm not just talking improvement though. I'm talking about remarkable improvement. I've grown maui waui for over 2 1/2 years now. Same cut. It has always had a sweeter aroma with GH and a very lack luster high, but it's very pretty and has amazing bag appeal. After switching to jack's the maui has a much stronger skunk smell with sweet undertones whereas before it had nothing but sweetness to the aroma. It exhibits a great deal more complexity and depth now that makes you want to go back for another sniff after you pull the flower away from your nose Moving on to the flavor, burn qualities, and high.
I harvested a few tiny little pop corn buds at the bottom of the plant. Just something to sample ya know? Not even completely dry yet. Maybe 4 days in. Good enough to burn with satisfaction. Not only did it taste satisfying and burn smooth, but I noticed it has a new flavor. Before it was very sweet. Now it's got complexity. It's a blast of skunk mixed with sweetness and you can't figure out which one is more powerful. It leaves your pallet in a state of confusion that's very satisfying. It makes me want to go back for more and keep burning it down, but the potency. Oh my the potency. I almost cycled maui out this next round because I grew so tired of the lack of potency. I literally only have 1 cut in the garden right now. However, the jack's grown maui is off the hook potent! I'm stoned like the summer of 8th grade allover again man. So stoned I'm a little paranoid. If I went to the store right now I'm certain everyone would be staring at me. That kinda stoned
How about burn qualities? I had a problem with dark ash on my joints and in my bowl from the maxi boom. With jack's it burns clean. I can literally burn a whole bowl down in one hit and tap it out in my hand. Just like I use to when I grew in soil. I've never been able to do that with maxi. And those days are over.
I am very excited to see how much different critical mass and ghost train are from the last cycle. Switching to jack's 321 has been the best decision I've ever made in the garden.
If you haven't tried jack's I highly recommend you do. They have soil and hydro fertilizer. Cheap too. If anyone else has noticed a significant change like this please share! This is very very cool to me. The improvement had nothing to do with me and everything to do with jacks. I give all the credit to them. I'm very thankful the guys on RIU and GreenGene who steered me to this awesome place I currently find myself. It's just so frustrating to put all the time and energy into the garden and not receive the results you want. I've done that for about 2 years now, and those days are over. Thank god
