Just started 12/12....is it too late for ScrOG?

For some reason I was thinking that you should wait 2 weeks after flowering begins to add the screen....I can't find an exact answer in the posts I'm reading, but it's sounding like I should have trained them through the screen BEFORE flowering?

Is it too late to add the screen? I would just let them veg longer, but they have been vegging plenty long enough and are already as big as I want them for indoors.

i would say it is probably going to be a bigger pain in the ass if you try to train now, but unless i see some pics i dunno... you will have substantial growth during the first stretch, but it may not even be worth it to bother. but then again without pictures, and knowing how many plants/lights etc, who knows... i typically begin training as soon as my plants are about 15-20" depending on whats going on, and i set my screen at 12", prior to that i fim the fuck out of everything, and possibly fim during the first week/two while im training. starting your flower around the time your screen gets about 1/2 to maybe 3/4 at the most is best as you can end up with an out of control scrog... training while they are vegging without screen like bending branchs outward and down parallel with the ground works well to get light into the center areas so it can fill out and make stronger shoots...

ok I'll get some pics up tomorrow. Originally I wanted to do scrog for biggest buds & shortest time, but now i have more time than expected, so I've just been letting em veg for longer. 1 1000hps and 15 plants, getting super bushy bout a foot or so tall.

What is fim?

I like the idea of bending the stems before training.

from what i understand you can still do it.
The plant still has a lot of growing to do man. screen it up and post and update down the road

check the grow in my sig.... The screen wasn't introduced until the second week of flowering was almost over.

OK cool thanks. yeah, I don't see any reason why it would be too late to add the screen, so I'm going to set it up. Gonna build the frame for the screen today and post pics later!
