just started flowering and want to switch my 12 hours cycle to a different time

1. I just switched to 12 on 12 off today. But i want to change
the time the lights are on from 1pm -1am to 8am-8pm.
will this harm the plants?

2. My other question is if for some reason the power trips and my light goes out for a unknown period of time, will that harm the plants?? even if i can get them back on cycle?

1. Just do it during a dark period.
2. No worries. Remember, even nature has overcast days.

True but don't make it so sudden, change by 2 hour intervals till you get your desired time.
