Just Started Up

So, about a week ago i planted some . I didnt germinate them. I just planted them in plastic cups with holes in the bottom. I just want a couple of questions answered.

1.) Should i have started in cups?
2.) How long should i wait until i move them into the ground?
3.) When will i be able to reconize the males from the females?
4.) When will they bud, so i can trim them?

If someone could answer these for me, i would very much appreciate it.

Starting in cups is fine. You can go ahead and put them in there holes depending on where you live or let them grow some indoors before putting them outdoors. After June 21st the days start getting shorter. So you will probably be able to pick out the males sometime in July. Just keep a close eye on them. I'm not sure about your 4th question? Are you asking when will they be done? It depends on the strain. There's no need to trim the buds until they are done and you are harvesting and drying them.
