Just sum questions ??

And yes I'm a noob here. But was just wondering, and yes i'm very high right now as i write this, so bear with me, this is my second time growing and al lis outdoors, i live in pennsylvania. Now I just started a plant like 3 weeks ago and its only like 8 inches tall but with good green leaves and al lis looking healthy, but the 2 intiial leaves that actually sprout the plant out of the dirt to begin with are now just yellowing and drooping down, I started the seeds and the seeds are some midgrade bud that i just threw in a pot and now there growing, but I have moved to a 5 gallon bucket. And I started the seeds out in organic soil and it popped up great, now my first time that i grew was about 7 yrs ago and grew about 10 plants but no buds because someone chopped down my stash and they were like 4 feet tall, and they were just sum good seeds that I threw in the ground and they grew. Now, was wondering, I have this ortho rose fertilizer and its mixture is 8-12-4, now an older farmer that lives in the hills here says that wont hurt them one bit, but hes like 78 yrs old lol and was just wondering I can start them out with just a littel bit of that rose fertilizer? I plan to use it as the weeks go on as well. And the plants are in natural soil now by the way and get FULL 8 hours of sun 12 hrs of daylight. Will my plants be alright the way im doing things now, I dont have very much money at all so I hope close to al natural is good, with the rose bush fertilizer.

All fertilizers work. That one is mainly used for flowering,but it will work just fine. Now it will not hurt the plants unless ya give them too MUCH!!!

If thats what youve got, and you want to use it up it will do fine. What type of fertilizer is it? granular? liquid? powder?

I would start off by mixing it up at half of the strength recomended on the package and see how the plants take to it.

its granular like your supposed to pour these little tiny pebbles on the soil and then just add the water, but was wondering if I could possibly disolve the granuals in luke warm water maybe? And its also time released as well the granuals.

I was under the impression that any rose fertilizer would make the pH of the soil more acidic...since roses are acid loving plants?

either i was going to use that rose fertilizer or I was just going t olet it grow all natural with giving it noithing but plenty of sunlight and just water, the soil I have the plants in now only 2 plants i have just for myself, is the soil is right from the ground, and it had alot of nice worms, or night crawlers in them, so I was told where the worms grow its good soil ! Its just that if I let them grow all natural, Im afraid that will take to olong and wont get any bud since i live in pennsylvania, and it starts to get cold here at the beginning of Sept. Any one have any input on this situation? Thank you kindly !

Hey Nater...
Don't worry too much. I live in Connecticut and the weather is pretty much the same here. Mine have been growing since around May 8th outside. This is true that nightcrawlers in the soil means good soil. The earthworm castings are a natural soil conditioner, and the tunnels that the worms burrow aerates the soil and makes it loose, allowing the roots to establish and grow easier.
Remember, if you let them grow naturally, they are growing the way they are genetically encoded to do. Nutes are just a growing boost. It's true that you may not see as much of a yield as you would if you nuted them, but don't worry that much. If this is your first grow, this will be a learning experiment. Next grow, you can try new things like nutes and training. But you'll be safe just letting em' grow naturally.
It also depends on the strain of the weed you're growing. Some strains flower earlier on then others. That's why I pick a strain that will flower a little earlier with less time, due to the fact I live in the Northeast. Hope this is some help.

thank you jonboy, well the type of strain I dunno what it is, it was some seeds that were good middies, or good mid grade bud that i planted, i was getting tired of paying all these ridiculous prices for weed man and now just wanna grow my own, since its like for an oz. of midgrade here its like 220 an oz, which is ridiculous ! Now at least when my abbies grow i know what im smoking and dont have to pay a damn thing and I told my sister since she always smokes and never invites me to smoke at all, that she can not hav any of this, this will be all mine !!

Ohh, btw, when i do grow these plants al lnatural, when will i start to see my first bud? And also, i was thinking of not clipping the tops and just do the al lnatural and let it grow, because i heard that it takes longer to grow back once you clipp it? soo what would be better in this situation?

Dude...I wrote a long response to your questions and for some reason it didnt post. So here goes another try...
A)I looked at a sunrise/sunset chart and where I live the 12/12 cycle is on September 26, 2009. I asked a few of my friends on RIU when I would also see signs of budset. They told me somewhere around mid to late august. My strain flowering time is 8-10 weeks, meaning that I'll be harvesting around October. That should hold true with yours also. But I can't be exact with yours.
B)As far as topping goes, I would just leave em' be as they are if you're going au naturale. Topping requires the plant to have a very strong immune system and requires alot of regenerative strength. This can easily be done with the use of nutes. Wait for your next grow to start messing with topping, etc,.
