Just three plants

In Cali with a prescription. Growing just three plants outdoors in yard (two are sativa trees tho). If someone really wanted to see them they could. Should I worry about law enforcement?

not sure about Cali law, but in Michigan (legal state), and and all mj plants outside MUST be in a locked enclosed designated area and NOT to be seen from outside the property. if plants are seen, it gives thieves extra motivation to steal and commit crimes to obtain plants.

You're right about the thieves. I am in a pretty rural neighborhood and don't really worry about that. Still there are some neighbors who could call the cops. There are no ordinances here regarding outdoor grow, other than the general rule of thumb, no more than 6 mature. I have half that. I do live in a place where there is a county ban on dispensaries, but don't think that should jeopardize my little garden for personal use.

I've done what I can, other than going back into the closet, to conceal them, but if someone wanted to look, they would see.

Wouldn't it be nice to get some assurance that nothing bad will happen. Logically I know law enforcement doesn't want my three plants, but I am curious if anyone in a medical state has been hauled in for something as small as this, what could only be considered for personal use.

I saw one time a picture of outside grown plants and the guy had gotten some red plastic flowers and had put them throughout the plant it looked pretty stealthy.

It's a good idea CG. I've taken some basic measures to hide them. Other plants and shade cloth for camo, and I think I will get some plastic flowers, at least it'll make my friends laugh if nothing else. But, at the end of the day, I've got an 9 ft. xmas tree in June. I'd be smart to stay away from the bean stalk Sativas but it's so tempting. And now my paranoid ass is flinching every time a helicopter flies over, like Law want's to spend the cash to bust me and my three plants...or do they? I can see the headline: "California man busted growing Cannabis, law enforcement had been monitoring the operation for years, with an estimated street value of $600, maybe $700."
