meh I dont think the contents of the box were important to understand the feeling of the film, i was really just making a joke related to se7en, since i noticed i never saw what was in the box...

Well, for me personally, this hit me on at least 3 different levels. The box being one. For me there was something very specific in the box. But that's me.

I was just curious what it meant to you.

I can calculate too seriously sometimes and jokes can fly fly right over.. hehe...
 
I love Vader as I understand his reference to se7ev ...
But what happens if you would watch this backwards ...
What if some viewers can do that ....perceive backwards as it unfolds forward ...
Would that reveal a secret ??

For good or bad, everything unfolds purposefully. Because of one miniscule prank these two young lovers' lives may well be changed forever. Before taking the 'morphine' it seemed they were parting ways. Now, with the help of the prankster, their bond is stronger than ever. The Butterfly effect, if you will.
Another thing that struck me at the beginning was the periodic table underneath the backwards clock. My interpretation: As time counts down, the more the little things matter. A simple visit to my grandparents' place last week is a great example. They were thrilled. I am going to start seeing them more.

Or maybe I'm reading too much into this? ;)
