I just topped my youngest plant last night, and I just topped my oldest plant like an hour or two ago. I am going to start flowering tonight, will they be fine?

Thanks RIU.....I am generous with rep when it comes to helpful people :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

sounds like aplan you should be just fine. if i were you just a suggestion i would give your plant a day or two to recover from the shock of being topped before switching to flower

Ya dude, Once you top them give 'em at least a few days under veg to recover before flipping over to 12/12. You don't need to delay too long, but they'll need just a little bit of time to recover. Be nice to your girls and they'll be nice to you!!!!!

like the previous poster said a few days of recovery before the switch will do them good. They like to be good and healthy before they start to flower. Not saying you couldnt do it right away but i think it works a bit better to let them heal first.

It's good to give the plant time to settle down before you make too many changes at once. You can stun growth if you hurry things, so just be patient, slow is good.

Yeah that does sound right, but I am just trying to get my first grow fast before my birthday. My next grow I am going to order seeds, and make sure its a killer plant :leaf:

def wait a couple of days next time. when you flip to 12/12 you want your plant to focus on triggering flowering, not repairing growth...

Oh well, i have a lot of time for flowering so I'm sure it wouldnt really matter if I just kept it in longer, right?
