Just some idiot
After 2 weeks snip across the first top and after 4 weeks snip those 3 tops again the just put it straight into 12/12.
In the future though im just going to be growing lots of single stem plants as its less hasstle.
When i snip the tops and always leave a tiny bit of it left this gives me 2-3 tops instead of one on the first snip and i then a week later snip all 3 new tops in the same manner, you don't have to wait until they are big to snip them,in fact its better to snip them when they are fairly small with clean sharp nail scissors.
Im pretty stoned right now and its hard to wrap my head around wether i make sense or not lol![]()
I believe it is called FIMing when you leave part of the bud. I have a good example of what Natmoon is talking about. In my gallery I have a photo called FIMed Mango part 2, it's a birds eye view and you can see the diffierent growth tips. I did it by accident at first and wondered what was going on, then I read about FIMing and realized that is what I am doing. It takes longer for a plant to recover IMO but it is well worth it if you wanna try it out. You top but like nat said leave about 10% of the bud you are cutting.
