Just transplanted. Pictures included-need advice

Hello all, I just moved 4 of my plants from the small size pots to the bigger ones you can see in the picture. I am feeding them 10-4-14 nutes, and on 18/6. I have a little gnat problem as you can asee, just put those traps to see if it will help it. Ugh I was wondering, if my transplant looks alright. I feel like when i come home tonight my plants are going to react all badly

Do I need more soil? to water them? any advice you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated thx.

First of all the gnats are from over watering. Let the soil dry out good and the eggs from the gnats will die. Fill your pots up with soil. Just add some soil even if a few leaves get buried that will be ok. Dont give them any ferts since you just put them in fresh soil. What kind of soil?

I'm using pete's potting soil purchased at home depot. It was the highest nitrogen soil and didnt come with any pre added fertalizer. How long should I let the soil dry out for? I ran out so I'm going to go to home depot to buy another bag. After filling up the pots, how long should I wait before watering.

Also, so you know the genetics, 3 of those plants are Afghooey, and the other 3 are G13xSharlsbreath, all from seed.

fill your pots to the top, you want as much of that stem covered as possible to minimize stretch. get your lights closer. use the hand test, put your hand on the top of your plant. eithermove the light closer or move the plant close enough so your hand feels warm but not hot. that's where your lights have to be. Gat a fan blowing on the plants asap! A fan not only keeps the gnats at bay (I have 'em too they are NOT just from overwatering, Miracle gro potting soil is infested with them!) but you need a fan to strengthen the stems!
dryness test; stick your first finger all the way in to the second knuckle, pull it out, if there is dirt stuck on your finger or it feels wet, your soil still has moisture wait another day, if your finger comes out dry then you may water. water them until it seeps out the drainage holes again only about every 3-4 days!

I do have a fan, Its a little further back out of the pictures range. I moved the fan back and raised the lights because the leaves burned a little and the wind was a little to intense.

I also have this Moisture/PH/Light meter I bought from the hydroponic store. I was using that as well as the finger in soil test to check for moisture. I found that the moisture meter very rarely read moist and my plants were drying up quickly. That is why I bought larger pots. My hand feels the hotness from the lights where it is now, would lowering it be risky or just increase the growth of my plants.. I feel like they are small considering I am giving them a pretty legit lighting system.

what kind of lights?
