just wanted to show my tent

So I had 5 plants in my flower tent, they're about 3 weeks along now and doing good. I had some extra space and it was time to put my aero system in flower, so instead of setting up a different light (they were vegged under t5's kind of just out in the open in my bedroom.) I decided to utilize the vent port in the bottom of my 5'x5' tent, and just slide the arm of my aeroponic system through from the inside, so that the res can sit on the outside of the tent and stay cool.

IMG_20140102_155213.jpgNow that its in flower.

Here's pics of what I have in the tent now. 4 white lavender clones that were begged for 8 weeks. 1 "supposed" ak-47 that I'm pretty sure is just mids bag seed. Plus, now my aeroponic setup running along the back of the tent, with (from left to right) r.p. purple wreck, hso's desert diesel, delicious seeds cotton candy, and hso blue dream.IMG_20140102_131746.jpg IMG_20140101_223541.jpg

I know you can't really see shit, and yes my twnt is absolutely PACKED right now. But my lavenders have really swollen out in their first 3 weeks, so I'm not too worried about them not getting enough light. Plus, I'm not too concerned with weight on my aero setup, just trying to find out which ones are keepers. My main thing is to utilize every bit of my thousand watt light, and now that my tent is this packed it should definitely be fully taken advantage of now.

And, my white lavenders should finish like 4-5 weeks ahead of the ones in the back, so they'll have more light once the lavenders come out. Pics of the lavenders coming in the next post.

Hopefully I can use this as my go -to thread when I have problems or want advice or whatever. I'll be sure and put a nice detailed post of all of my stuff here soon. The front 5 plants are soil, and organic while my aeroponic plants are running botanicares KIND line, which I am absolutely loving.

Some more pics of my white lavenders:

My first run was .56 grams per watt. This time I'm hoping to at least hit 1 gpw, but if everything goes according to plan I should be able to get closer to 1.4-1.5, assuming I can average 6 ounces off of my big plants and 4 ounces off of the ones in the aero

Thanks guys, yeah technically I had an og kush all by itself in between my first grow and this one, but I'm still kind of just considering this my second grow, since the og mostly vegged with some from my first run, and was all by itself finishing up while I begged this group.

I started out with the white lavenders 100% organic, but have since then started adding kool bloom as a bulking agent to my roots organics nutes when I feed them, plus I started alternating my feedings with the organic roots nutes (+ kool bloom) on one feeding, then I'll feed with the botanicare synthetic line, then I'll flush. If I notice any signs of the nutes getting too hot then I'll water a couple of times before I start feeding again. But the growth has been amazing this way, I'm almost positive some of my plants are gonna be half pounders. At least 2 of them should.

Pistils on their 2nd day of 12/12! I'll snag some pics later. The blue dream actually started showing them yesterday, and I don't know how in the hell it happened. The night before they went like 3 hours shorter than their normal 18 hour day, and 3 or 4 hours into their first day under the hps the blue dream was forming them. I guess going from the 6400k t5's to the red spectrum of the hps was enough to get them to sex. By this morning 2 more were shooting pistils, and by this evening the purple wreck finally grew a pair.

The calyxes and pistils are still so tiny, tho. Its crazy how fast this aeroponic system grows, I can't wait to see what their bud growth is like.

no co2, bratha? get a co2 monitor from amazon for like $150, get that co2 to 1500ppm and welcome to hell.. :weed:

dude, your grow looks that good with passive air and no co2? nice..

Thanks guys, yeah I've been lucky and had great results. I'll post these pics (for the last time, I swear lol) of my og that I just finished a few weeks ago, it was by itself and yielded almost 12 ounces- about 10 ounces of good nug (no humongous buds, tho from overgrowing its container in flower) and a couple ounces of scraggle bud for wax. It really was a great plant tho.

image_3.jpgimage.jpgIMG_20131216_202411.jpgIMG_20131207_211607.jpgIMG_20131207_211441.jpg

Wish I would've had the clones workout, I tried taking like 10 but wasnt having any luck at the time.

But yeah, I'm really surprised with how well my yields have been.. The growth has been slow in my organic soil grows, and technically I don't have an intake, just an exhaust fan pulling through the carbon filter, then through my hood, then out the top of my tent and basically comes out of a line right before the door of the bedroom. So it doesn't ever really get any fresh air, and I guess me andy girlfriend produce enough co2 lol.

They have these packs at the grow store that generate Co2, but my fan is exhausting 24/7 to control my humidity in my tent. I might try getting a dehumidifier, and just running my exhaust when the light is on to keep it cool. But I would have to run the co2 at night, and doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? I dunno, I've definitely been thinking about introducing it to my system tho.

technically you have a passive intake...and you and the gf's co2 seems plenty adequate that's how I roll too....and yes its my understanding co2 during lights out is pissing in the wind.....splendid grow!

Hey guys, wanted to make a post showing this problem I'm having on a couple leaves in my cotton candy plant (2nd from right in my aeroponic thing in the back). Its like a brownish/copperish color that's forming in the margins of the leaves. I'm wondering if it might just be getting shocked/cooked by the hps? The 4 aero plants were only vegged under 4x4' t5's. 2 of the bulbs were 6400k and 2 of them were 2700k, where my cousin ran a couple autoflowers.

Unless they might be getting burned. My feeding instructions had me go from around 1280 ppm at the end of veg to around 1560 ppm at the beginning of flower. My pH raises almost daily, which I have to adjust at least once (a day) and I also lose some water from evaporation, so my concentrations rise slightly. I usually wind up having to add like a half a gallon of water to my 10 gallon res every other day.

But anyways, they were getting as high as 1400 in veg (which lasted 5 or 6 weeks) and I wasn't having problems, but when I went into flower I did a res change and got the ppm up to about 1550, and then this morning it was at like 1660.

Sorry if I'm just kind of blabbing, but im quite medicated on this nice Saturday afternoon, so sorry if I'm not making any sense.

Anyways, I read to watch my water level, and see how fast it was going down and correlate it to my concentration; if my concentration is going up, then the plants arent using the nutrients as fast as the water is being used, and to back off. But my concentrations have never stayed the same as my water level lowered-- I'm not sure if its from.evaporation or what, but I don't seem to be noticing any type of lockout.

Also, my pH is often above 6-- I usually set it between 5.5-5.8, but like I said, when I check it 24 hours later its usually almost always 6.3-6.5. Fwiw, it seems to rise faster when I'm using aquashield and hygrozyme.

Shit! See, whad'd I tellya? Stoned as hell. Any who, forgot the pics, lol.

IMG_20140104_125415.jpgIMG_20140104_125427.jpgThis is the big fan leaf that has it

And here's a smaller leaf on a branch underneath with the same thing going on. Both of these are at spots on the plant that get the most light.

Yeah, it's only on two of the leaves on one of the plants (the cotton candy). I'll get some better pics right when the light goes off. It'll be 3-4 hours. I've seen in before on one of my plants; this weird copper/goldish color.

Doesn't over feeding cause the plant to show signs in places that get the most light? One of my white lavender plants had this tip burn thing going on, that a lot said looked like over feeding. Someone said if it was only happening right under the bulb it was probably over feeding.

Look at what happened to my big one in the back(My Grow)it got bleached and the leaves looked like burn but in only the center out but they look dead now were it got bleached. Might be a light problem in your case.
