Just when I thought I had this....

Hello guys,Ok I have 3 DWC buckets.2 Sour Diesel,2 bubblicious in one bucket. So that's a total 4 plants in 3 buckets. The ones that I am concerned with are the 2 sour diesel.First let me give you some facts.I am using tap water (300ppm's).I know it's a little high but right now I don't have much choice. Both buckets are sitting at about 700ppm's PH of 5.4-5.8.Everything was good until a couple of days ago.I noticed the leaves were affected with "dead" spots.I looked over the troubleshooting guide and I can't find anything that directly affects what's going on.I am going to enclose a few pics of the plants and the nutes that I am using.Thank you guys

Bored at work so I found some stuff.

This, http://www.highnutrients.com/nutrient-deficiencies.html, look under iron.

Iron. Fe is likely to be deficient when the soil is very acid or alkaline. Under these conditions, the iron becomes insoluble. Remedies include adjusting the pH before planting; addition of rusty water; or driving a nail into the stem. Commercial Fe preparations are also available. If the soil is acidic, use chelated iron, which is available to the plants under acidic conditions. Symptoms appear first on the new growing shoots. The leaves are chlorotic between the veins, which remain dark green. Iron symptoms are usually most prominent on the growing shoots.

That's from, http://www.quicktrading.com/tips18.html.

This may be your best bet here, http://www.mmjshopping.com/cannabis-college.php.

Hope I helped.

Sorry then bud, I honestly looked everywhere on the net for 2 hours trying to find some related issue with DWH and the same thing, nothing came up.

Anytime man.

so what I did was went back to the drawing board.I went and got some RO water.Added calmag to both plants.100 ppm of calmag,200 ppm of foxfarm grow nutes.Total of 300 ppm.Ph of 5.6
Now I will have to wait and see

it's 11 days later.I have good news to report! It was a hard water issue. With my frame of mind,I thought that if my water started off at 300 then I wouldn't need cal-mag.After some researching it appears that the molecules of cal-mag in the tap water were too big to be absorbed through my roots.Wasn't getting cal-mag.I went and bought more filters for my RO pitcher added the foxfarm and cal-mag,two days later,I have noticed a difference.Another thing I learned...The harder the water, the more ph down you have to use. With the water from this pitcher the ppm's are at zero and after letting the water sit out, there isn't need for ph down.My pump went out on one of the buckets for about 8 hrs two days ago, that one looks kinda bad. This morning I poured out all of the water and replaced with 0 ppms of water nothing else! Any suggestions?

do you air out your tapwater for 24hours for the chlorine to evaporate before putting it in your reservoir? I'm just curious. thanks.

Yeah your best bet really is to always use RO water along with a calcium & magnesium supplement for every plain watering. RO water is basically pure water and can actually leach nutrients, but with a properly mixed supplement and when properly PH'd it is your best bet for watering between feedings.
