Hello Everybody, Happy New Year!!!!

Just thought I would start a new journal. The boring stuff is over they are just starting to fill in.
Flipped these bitches Dec 1, so I figure they have been flowering for around 4 weeks.

Strains in the tent are
Twinkle tarts 4 phenos
My One night stand keeper x2
My Sunday driver keeper x2
My Cherry garseeya keeper
My doho x pyxy styx keeper x2
1 Blackgrape dumdum
And 1 old time Indiana bubblegum

A little info about me and my set up, I'm a decent grower definitely not the best but not the worst either.
I just switched from hps to LED, first run with LED lighting and I'm liking it so far, they seem to stack better and I like being able to take pics with the light on.
For growing medium and nutrients I mixed promix with Gaia green 4-4-4 plus some oyster shell, lime, neem meal and let cook. I reuse my soil and re amend with half what I originally put in plus started adding malted barley and ewc so power bloom at about 25% and all purpose at 75%. I just dump my pots in a tote mix up nutes and let sit for my current round, so my soil is on 3 and 4 rounds I think.
I water through blumats and I only like running straight water. So I also top dress every 2 weeks or when needed in flower at varying rates. Once in awhile I will hand water in Neptune fish and seaweed, but not very often maybe 1 or 2 times a grow cycle unless they really need it.

I got lazy and didn't top dress the 2 big plants in back that are yellowing at the start of flowering when I knew they were going to need it. So they are looking a little rough but the small plants in front in 2 gallon containers are looking pretty good

Also forgot to mention that I got a Rosin press a couple weeks ago,
I am loving this Rosin, it tastes great and is super potent.
I first thought since you get so little Rosin from your flower I would go through more flower than I would have if I was smoking joints like usual.
boy was I wrong, this stuff lasts awhile, as they say only a dab will do!!!!
I must say some strains press like absolute shit and I get almost nothing from them, like 5% or less:wall: generally fluffy buds, I guess just stuff that's not very dense presses like shit. At first I thought it was just because I was a noob at pressing but once I put in something dense and frosty I got like 20% from it.
I usually just make 3 gram pucks and hope to get around a .5 gram per press but I can only get .5-.6 from certain strains, other dense strains I'm only getting 10-15% but I'm still playing around with them trying to fine tune and get the best yields with the best terps.
Anyone else out there using a personal Rosin press?

Ya I fucken up and didn't top dress the 2 big ones I knew would need it as I flipped to flower, the big one on the right always gets N to so I knew it doesn't need the extra N at the beginning of flower like the other 2.
It's funny ours look the same, we use the same method pretty much except your a sipper and I'm a blumatter. So I guess it shouldn't surprise me that they look the same

1 of the big plants that's yellowing(1 in middle) is twinkle tarts #5 and I also have 2 TT#5 in the middle row in 2 gallon containers. So when I run 2 gallon containers I try and transplant a small plant from a solo cup to the 2 gallon let it settle for a week maybe, just let it get used to the new containers then flip them. So you can see how much more frost is on the 2 gallon TT5 compared to the bigger container TT5. I always find the smaller container plants look better than same strain in bigger containers.

What happened to it?
I don't have one in veg I'm having to try and clone it from my flower tent again:wall:, if that doesn't work I'll have to try and reveg again.

Sure is, I always hook up my bro and any friends I know are growing with clones.
Sucks dedicating a room to some unknown and it all turns out shitty. Takes some time and effort to find something really special. Better to share then to horde cuts. lol... was hoping he still had the Sunday driver in case my clones don't root but I can just try and reveg if it comes down to it.

I agree. I am in my eyes still a noob to growing but hopefully by next year i will be trying out cloning my own plants my self and searching for phenos worthy of it. Once i do i plan to try and give out as many as i can because i know its possible to make more clones than i can use in one run.

I clone everything I grow so that I don't miss out on any gem that I grow.
Nothing is worse than growing something amazing but you didn't clone it. You can reveg but doesn't always work.

Cloning is super easy I've seen members here do it with just a solo cup and a Ziploc bag.

I agree with everything you are saying.
I plan to clone everything i grow as well. You dont know if its going to be THAT keeper till you have flowered the pheno.
And once i get another tent setup i plan to start cloning. Kind of hard to do with just one all though not impossible lol. Just want to do it right.

I just got a small cheap particle board cabinet and put a t5 on each of the three levels. I can have a clone dome on each of top two shelves and keep small moms or little vegging plants in solos in the bottom. Had it for 10 years at least, not the nicest but it does the job

Any guesses on what it is?
Pretty sure it's barley as I top dress malted barley and add some when I reamend my soil.

My old set up I was unable to lower my light due to the fact I had 2 x 600 in cooltubes in my 5x5 tent. The cool tubes fit end to end but had to have the ends sticking out the exhaust holes on either end or they wouldn't fit, was good in the fact it was east to connect without using any exhaust hose but the down side was my light was always at the roof of the tent and un moveable.
Well now I can finally move it up and down since I switched to LED so I moved it down about a foot.
It's pretty close to the tops of the big ones in the back

If they look ok after a few days might try and get it down a few more inches
