K.C Brains Northern Lights Special 400w Grow

Hi all, Read a lot of bad reviews on these boards about kc brains seeds. grown there haze special before and was quite suprised, healthy plants, big smelly buds and relatively easy going. thought id give the northern lights special a try. £10 for ten beans. Planted all ten, Got 7 females,heres some pics, Grown under 400w hps, big bud nutes. heres some pics.

Hell yea dude im growing the same thing now. iv heard alot of bad things. but all i see is good. how old?

this is nice to grow...massive buds and very potent...even after 5 mite attacks...slight variation from seed to seed but the same characteristics...i think people dont like nl because of the taste...i found the special stronger than nl5...the special hates over watering and my advice is to put into flowering early...2 weeks veg is fine...this is perfect for first timers and a bargain to boot...perfect for coco and not fussy about nutes...low smell...its all good

hey there. looks really healthy and to get 7 females for that price! good going. ive seen first hand, people having good results with kc brains. just a thought, but have you considered making a journal on this strain? id definately be subscribed to it. i think you just helped me solve the biggest mystery of my grow too. something thats been driving me crazy, and my big bang looks just like your NL (since it has NL in it) even though that was not mentioned as a possible phenotype from the breeder. i gotta say thank you for that. if you decide to make a journal post it up on here so we can all follow it

I just ordered some of those from, well lets not name names, and on the breeders notes it says that you can get like 350 grams off of one lady indoors. anybody know if thats true. Nice pics by the way

The northen lights special is deffeintly a good choice, kc brains have a SPECIAL plant there, after those plant photos were taken, the buds started to get really big and smelly, trics everywhere, Good strain for a first timer, doesnt need to much attention, I reconns Topping it a couple of weeks before putting into full budding, got about 290g of each plant when dry. Cant go wrong,good price as well!

i recently worked with this strain (from the 'tude) and got two basic phenos. the more indica leaning one yielded me a plant that i and most everyone else that tried it found to be stronger than mota's heri. it was wonderfuly strong with just the kind of face plant narcotic high i wanted to send me to bed for a long blissful sleep. i have problems sleeping at night and this plant was a godsend. this indica dom plant was indeed the most potent narcotic stone i've smoked in years and several others felt the same way. i've found that when working with heterogeneous seed varieties that you got to search thru several to find the keepers. i've done some hybrids off this plant but haven't found out yet if its potency translates to the progeny. the keeper pheno is indeed a wonderful plant. i don't post pictures but it looked just like the one shown.

Got me a fem seed of nls from kc brains. Been sitting in storage during my current true but I'm thinking bout cracking that bad boy open next week after I harvest my current critical auto. Need space. From what I've read it should be an easy grow and some strong herb too

When i first started this grow i was a bit sceptical, But This truely is a SPECIAL plant. I kept one as a mother plant which has always provided some wicked cuttings, every one ive taken has grown beautifully, very heavy stone, I think its 80% indica-20% sativa. Its a good idea to top them if growing indoors as they can get a bit on the large side. As long as youve got good ventalation the smell isnt to much of a problem, very easy to grow and LARGE sticky buds, an excellent choice for newbies as well.
