hi all ive gt big white thick roots pissing out of every hole in my pots, plants are 0nly 1ft and they are 6 litre pots, strange hey? shall i jus tape up the side slits at the bottomof pot and leave bottomdrainage holesunblocked,, even though they are coming out of there as well or shall i repot to 15 litre pots:bigjoint:

Get bigger pots. Don't block off the drains, the roots will only grow out so far if they're in the light.

yes they are starting to brown off where in the light but this cant be healthy? also drainage holes on underside of pot are spewing roots also

repot mate, sounds like u could be in for a good grow, if its throwing lottsa roots out then theres a good chance u could end up with a tree, hope its a lady.

two changes i made this time round, tall square pots instead of fat square pots,, and vegged for 6 weeks instead of 4 or 5 also the pots have little slits in the sides right at the bottom to aid drainage which my others didnt have,, the roots are growing out of there as well, i have grown much bigger plants in smaller pots before without any excess root mass, so why do u think its happeniong now? its a prob i can sort out by repotting i know this but i like to try and understand why its happened.

cheers dura they are feminised seeds. so they best be lol i cant get any more cellmax though and all i can get is coco. i have 10 litre pots to go into but im slightly concerned about the different mediums, will the roots weird out as they gro winto a new medium? never tried before. i can get cellmax on tues but i reckon my root swill be hanging right out by then, when i try to tuck em back in i end up snappin some, so left em alone.

bloody hell mate, its got roots like a fuckin oak tree. christ only knows what gave u a root like that, u feeding it rooting gel as a nutrient lol???

lol,, only thing i bin givin it is halo, i cant gt over how small she is for the root mass. i jus hope the rrepot sorts em out, fckin hassle lol,
wen u pot up dura how wet do u have ya medium?
