The first payoff comes in the morning, WOOHOO!!! As soon as I get up in the morning Blueberry Gum will meet my axe, Muwhahahah! Trichs on that lady are about 85% cloudy, 10% clear, and 5% amber. I'm assuming the experienced growers know that after the chop the trichs continue maturing. They don't just stop cause they've been cut. That's y we cure our buds. I'm guessing (from my experience) that after a month of cure the trichs should have matured to about 90% cloudy and 10% amber. That's right where I want it! It seems there is some confusion about when to harvest around here. When ur trichs start to turn amber it is literally ur thc level dropping! It's the thc oxidizing ans turning n2 CBN. While CBN is a psychactive cannabinoid it is not one that I desire at all. CBN makes you drowzy and gives you that "confused, foggy head". This is not the "couchlock" high that experienced smokers know and love. A true COUCHLOCK high comes only from CBD and how much CBD ur plants do or do not have is a matter of genetics and nothing more. You can not produce this affect yourself by simply letting ur trichs turn amber. When something is to good to be true, isn't it usually not true? This is a horrible myth that is still being passed off as truth on this site on a daily basis. Couchlock is all about CBD content. That's y a lotta breeders are listing CBD content as well as thc now. When ur trichs are turning amber know that u are sitting there and watching ur THC level drop with each trich cause the amber color is the result of ur thc turning n2 CBN. CBN will make you droggy but that is no couchlock high. Anyway, it's my thread so I had to drop some knowledge. I get so tired of hearring people tell others to ruin their bud by letting like 50% of their trichs turn amber b4 harvesting. If you like bud that makes u feel tired and drowzy more power to ya but I like bud that makes me feel gooooooood! Thanx to everyone who has helped me along the way. Pics will be up in the morning after I chop.
