Fact is there's not a whole lot of "hard data" floating around here about it. People start experiments and then poof scrap it. I've seen some outdoor pics of them that got pretty big. I wouldn't really hold your breath on it though. 10 out of 10 of mine didn't auto but they were in ground. They went through the full veg cycle during summer. Some others have said theirs auto'd and whatnot but then nothing else in the journal. I haven't seen one from start to finish anyways.
Regardless mine all seeded anyways cause I had abandoned them after reading "ummmm they only auto in pots" They were standing at around 3 - 6 feet varying when I decided to go give them a look after 4 months. The only nutes they got were the time released stuff in the soil amendments and the only water they got was rain.
As far as what you'll pull come harvest I couldn't tell you. Mine were fully seeded 100% colas and popcorns. They were dried for a 3 days in a hot room with a dehumidifier. Then all the seeds harvested. All the stringy stuff left over was thrown in a grinder and given to a buddy. Came out to about 8.5 grams of green dust. So one thing I
CAN Tell you is that they don't auto in ground
mine didn't anyways.
I'm going to try and debunk this whole thing though because it's like an urban legend to me now. Next season I'm going to toss em in varying container sizes and see what the deal is. From a solo cup, large taco bell cup, 2 liter bottle, and a 1 gallon container. The rest are going to get thrown in a few guerrilla plots because I wanna see what a nice seedless product will be. Maybe tecdc can chime in on that.
As far as autos go though I've settled on Think Different after looking through various journals and reports. From Herbies description it's a Sativa dominant auto percent wise. I've got my eye out for a nice Indica dominant auto as well. Haven't made a 100% commitment to that yet.
