KC Brains Mango-Jack's Classic & "Makin' It Rain"

I lost one of the PR sprouts overnight. I have never been able to confirm. But I am certain I have a nest of carpenter ants near. From time too time a leaf, young top or sprout in this case. Clipped off clean. My only thought is a worker just on a food finding mission and testing the forage. I am really not sure. Anyways I am going to plant my other 3 Purple Rain beans. My main goal with them along with the Querkles is seed stock and some cross breeding. Of course I will still grow a couple out. I could make room for some Isis also. Just lead me to the party............ Start a thread and name it 'Got RMH Beans?"

Right on Cowboy, I got more beans and more in the making so let me know if you want more, damn ants.

I have been following your grow as well as the back and forth between all of the posters!
Your plants look rediculously good!
As a newbie why would you tie back the plants and then untie them unless I missunderstood you? I am 4 weeks tomorrow into my first grow and have lst'd a couple of my plants, mainly to keep them shorter and of course add potential bud sites...
Hope you don't mind me jumping in to ask a question during your grow?
Smitty

Thanks man, I tied them down and let them go to try to get them to a nice even canopy of bud sites. We will see how it works out. I shouldn't have topped, then fimmed, then LST'd, too much, but I was also trying to slow them down in height just a little. Ohhh and ask away, I may not always be right but I will always give you my $.02 for sure.

Hey brother, you are the man, thanks a ton for that guys, truly appreciated.

Now that I forced some beans on Riddleme, we gotta get him to pop them and join the party.

The Mangos have one week to go before hitting flowering and they are looking really good. Will go into flowering next Monday, then real fun begins in this journal !

With RIU being down Monday, I almost forgot the update. They went into flowering on Sunday night, have been getting a 3-1 nutes vs rain ratio and look to be very strong plants.

I've been fighting the spider mites and they are winning, so I have to go all out with foggers and Dr. Doom this weekend. I hate bugs.

Shit brother I thought it was obvious with the leaf damage in the flowering room. I'm always battling them, whether they are there or not, just right now they are and they are winning in the flowering room, due to not wanting to Azamax down the plants deep into budding. Gonna have to nuke em.

sorry I didn't pay that close attention to the damage

Wow, deff subscribing to this grow!

I just wanna say that I stated my very first grow using Jacks Classics way back when I had little knowledge of what I was doing and I have never seen leafier fuller plants that grew as fast as these ones did. I was using 30-10-10 orchard ferts and they really exploded in veg! Since then I have grown with Biobizz complete line up and have grown completely organic with teas and all the amendments, you name it. I still have not seen the tremendous growth results I got when using Jack's, Im thinking its time to switch back to the basics.

I think your doing a great job with your grow and im thinking about getting Jacks 20 20 20 and the bloom booster, I already have molasses, epsom salt, and Azomite which has over 72 trace elements in it. Im thinking that should make a pretty good 1 2 knockout.

Here are some veg pics from a few yrs back when I used Jacks orchard ferts, and put the laidies outside.

Get yourself a dozen or so ladybugs and let them loose in the garden. As long as there is mites they will just kinda troll around and eat mites.

Smart- that is what I have to say about a grower like you. I read Riddleme's threads aswell and it all made a shit ton of sense to me.... Nutrient companys and magazines are trying to tell me that companies like Jack's that have been proving them selves for years, on 1000's of different types of plants, all the sudden arent good enough for a weed????? im not buying the hype... I like the Idea of organics but I like the idea of Giant harvests better.... good luck, scribed as I will DEFINITELY be swithcing to jacks when the technaflora runs out...
