Keep cats off houseplants??!?!?!

the only thing that keeps my fucktard cat off any of my plants is a spray bottle full of water and i spray that fucker while i shout at the top of my lungs. sort of a pavlovian approach lol. i have never come accross a single product that actually repelled the cat effectively.
the spray bottle is def not working our cats are crackheads for water ... seriously will lick out of the faucet ... so when we spray the asshole stands there and opens his mouth..
day times and summer are ok but i've got em in for winter and the damn cats think bedtime is opening of the all night salad bar!!!

Easy my friend, buy some cheap balloons, bring one over to the cat, or even better, put one or more near the plants you want them to stay away from and pop the balloon it your cat's face, it will hopefully run away scared, hang another balloon (inflated) on or near the plant and it will never be back, promise. A knife, a hammer,a machette,an axe,a large rock,a piece of wood with nails through it, a garotte, a can of petrol and a match, a fucking big dog ... these and many other items are all useful for training your cat what is allowed and what is not.
In fact, start with the dog ... use all the other items and finish with the petrol and the match - the cat will never trouble you again.

Obviously y'all are doing something wrong. My cat loves my plants and will sit by my side while I tend to them. Yeah, she might take a few bites of the bottom fan leaves but i could care less. They will eventually die anyway. I can go in to my rooms and see my cat just chillin and sleeping, minding her business. My vote is to train your cat better, not freak her out.

I can't find it as I don't know the correct search terms. I saw a system as Menard's that has a shock collar and what looks like a battery smoke detector. When the collar gets to close the the detector thing, there is a beep on the collar then a small shock. You can get more of the detector things and put them in places you want to restrict the animals access.
If I am not careful, my cat will sneak into the grow room when I enter. It got locked in a few times the sneaky bastard.

it sounds cruel but the US govt does it...waterboard the bitch. that's what i did to my little girl the first time i caught her taking a bite of a freshly transplanted clone outside. she got picked up, dunked in a 5 gal bucket, brought back to where she took a bite and went back into the 5 gal. now she knows better. look, don't bite.

Put light mouse traps around anything you don't want your pet to touch. They will pop a couple of times and that will be it. I did this will a collie and a couch chewing issue. I also did it with a bulldog and shoe issue. They have really small ones at home depot for a buck or so.
For a cat, I would probably just get a tie it up in a sack and find a lake though.
