Keeping control of temps and humidity

hey guys

if i was growing in a DR120 with in-take and out-take fans

how can i keep control of the temps and humidity, what i would want to do, is keep the temp at a SET degree and the same with humidity, so when i go away and get along with my day to day living, i can be in peace, knowing that my tent with STAY at the temperature ive set it as aswell as humidity ?

how can i achieve this ?

sorry for such a noob questions

Controlling temps is a lot easier than controlling RH.

Temps you can adjust with fan placement in the room, by moving more air, using air cooled hoods, and light placement.

RH is determined by the humidity of the air coming into the grow and lowering it is controlled pretty much only with a dehumidifier.

if you want to "SET" the temp and humidity...you'll need an expensive environmental control system that includes heating/air conditioning/humidity control...

But if you just want to keep the "heat" under a certain temp and have plenty of airflow, you can use a thermostat on the exhaust fan to only kick on when the heat builds up...to completely control humidity you'll need a humidifier and dehumidifier set to either take humidity out of the air or put humidity back into it at the levels you want them at ;)

A heat pump! A heat pump does heating and air conditioning.

A small wall mounted one will run you about 13 hundie though.

how important is humidity....? its not hot and humid in my closet, the hottest it has gotten is about 78. but should I make it humid in there? my plant is 2weeks

well humidity plays a roll in co2 consumption and photosynthesis...if its too dry the pours close off to hold in moisture, if its too moist the pours open up and release it(also if its too hot the pours open up to perspire moisture)...so its a balancing act...a good humidity environment would be about 80% in seedling, 65% at the start of veg, down to 50% during the transition to flowering, then lower it down over flowering to a final point around 35%.
