i live by a fairly busy road during the day, and a lot of scumbags are just a bit away downtown. when my plant starts budding, if it gets too stinky, is there anything i can do to keep down the smell?

i wish i didnt have to do this but it would help

i do the same thing with the fire pit but am a little bit worried about when the plants frost up a bit....will the smoke stick to the resin on the plants?

What if you set up a fan behind your plants to blow against the smoke keeping it off of your plants??

Hang a bunch of car air fresheners near the plants and maybe that can mix in and distort the smell. Really though a lot of people are not really familiar with the smell of green matter. You should also know where your prevailing winds come from and are going(look at airflow etc). If the winds normally blow away from the road as opposed to towards it you should be fine. Smelling things out of a driving car is kinda like hearing someone shout out of a driving car. The sound or in this case the smell is distorted by the rapidly changing environment. Add to the fact most people live in climate controlled environments and are not smelling a thing with the windows rolled up.

I live in a city. Can't have a fire. Air fresheners? I suppose. The wind does in fact usually blow away from the street. Its the scumbags that are around here. Someone broke into our car for an iPod and 6 bucks. Losers, I know. I practically want to camp out there. I need to steal a house security system sign.
