I heard from a friend up in Mendicino County, Cali that this stuff is very beneficial
stuff for your plants. Any specific benefits? I use FF soil that has a little and probably used up by now so
is it really good for your plants in bloom? A 2nd opinion would be great!
Expensive kelp/seaweed supplements at Hydro stores but cheap at your
local hardware store. Thanks!

you could water with river water or mix some river and or lake weeds in the dirty. Works just as well in my opinion

river water and lake weeds are not even close to the same as using kelp, fish and humus. I use kelp in my teas along with fish emnlsion and forest humus. It makes a HUGE difference in the density and weight, not to mention the added crystal production. The stuff you get for cheaper at nurseries or hardware stores is just as good 99% of the time IMO. I only buy stuff at the grow shop that I can't get ANYWHERE else, and that's not much.
