On the contrary... A 15k aquarium light is excellent for horticulture you really should investigate the effects of uv on corals and plants in general. Before you make uninformed statements. My plants response to supplemental 15k light has been nothing less than outstanding. I use it specifically during the final weeks of ripening, it seems to make the trichs explode. Corals will florese to protect themselves from it... That's why they are used in aquariums. Cannabis has.. Other ways to protect itself..I am not sure an aquarium Kessil will be of any good for horticulture. I think four H380's would be better to flower by supplimenting a 1000K light. In short get the right Kessil for the right job.
For me it's about supplementing my spectrum with a specific wavelength.Cobs don't provide very much 660 red. Efficiency is nice but it's not the end all be all... Efficiency doesn't grow plants. Why are people still buying blurple when cobs are by far more efficient ?
Do you plan to continue using the h380s?Thanks. I was pleased with the yield for a smaller pot. Main colas, and side branches were swollen wih heavy sticky flowers.
How did this turn out for you?Dragon Week 6. I have two Kessil H380's on a light mover. (Super Silver Haze x Skunk#4 x Big bug)
