The probation officer with 8lbs of weed had it coming.... it's a little thing called karma. She CHOSE to work a job where she no doubt drug tests and locks up pot heads just about every day of the week....

agree^^^^ but what of the cops who find that pot is just something to help relax , i got a buddy working for the fire station somewheres and he smokes weed. should every person in a law enforcment area be controlled to the point where all they have left is booze.

Wow this would never happen in my family. We were raised that if we told on someone we usually got in more trouble then the person doing it.

Fucking snitches hes gonna grow up to be some anal cop that loves busting kids with a 20 sack. My stomach is startin to hurt from thinking about this story.

I am simply astounded that people here think the kid was the bad actor here. He was played. The biological father sounds like a right spiteful prick.
As for a probation officer with eight pounds ... I bet they were eight GREAT pounds. She must have had a sweetheart arrangement with the evidence-room folks. cn

It IS possible to possess and a smoke large amounts of marijuana in home and never have anybody else that lives with you find out. Not even really difficult at all really. Nobody is the good guy in this situation. They're all a bunch of morons.

8lbs of marijuana and the mother is a probation officer. She should have known better.
And just when I lose faith in Karma. Poetic justice there!

somebody needs to take that kid in the woods knock hiim in the head............
Dude, that kid was played like a fiddle by the brainwashing our government subjects our kids in public schools to. I seriously doubt that an 11 y/o would have any idea of the ramifications of his actions. Bio-Daddy played a big part in using the kid for his own agenda too. He was a slime ball using the kid to get mommy that way.

I have no problem with anyone who partakes, it's when they partake themselves, yet continue to enforce or support laws and arrest or report people for doing something they themselves do that I have a problem. People are too afraid to openly admit using Marijuana, and that only serves to allow the government to convince the public that the majority of people are against MJ, which clearly is not the case. They play us against each other.

interesting responses.

i don't blame the kid. he's only 11 and probably doesn't realize the magnitude of what he's done, and he had a puppetmaster.

the mother is a fucking idiot. if you're crooked, you don't have the luxury of tossing your weight around. if the kid complains about the smoke, fucking take it outside you wretched cunt. don't give him the whole "i'm the adult" routine when you're polluting his air. no wonder he got so spiteful. and a probation SUPERVISOR dealing weed (8 lbs?) while at the same time ruining people's probation for the same thing? karma was going to get her one way or another anyway.

the whole cop involvement thing wasn't cool, but i can understand why the father got so pissed. imagine your kid lives with your cunt ex wife and her douchebag new husband that's raising your kid, and your kid comes crying to you all the time about them. him and the ex probably had a bitter relationship to begin with. however, being that she's probably trying to maintain a certain degree of stealth, the dad could have easily had his revenge without police involvement. the whole thing is ridiculous.

So much to say about this one. Will the kid hate his dad for using him in this way? How many people did she put back in jail for doing actually what she does? Did the kid take the DARE course?

HASTINGS, Minn. -- An 11-year-old Minnesota boy who says he was fed up with his mom and stepfather filling their home with marijuana smoke took photos of the drugs and sent them to police, leading to their arrest.
Drug agents served a search warrant on their home in Ravenna Township near Hastings, last month and arrested Heidi Siebenaler, a Dakota County probation supervisor, and her husband, Mark Siebenaler. Both face charges in the case.
A criminal complaint says the boy told investigators he had complained numerous times to his mother about the marijuana smell. He finally took the matter to his biological father who told him to take pictures of the marijuana. The father then forwarded the photos to authorities.
....he should have waited till after Christmas. Always get the presents first.

2 big issues here....#1 is the use of children in the battle of divorce and seperation...#2 is the constant influx of anti drug messages being fed to our children via their education...not too mention the further bombardment of advertising they are subjected too while in school is infuriating me.
We talk openly to my 10 yr old...we have explained that it is medicine and helps people in numerous ways.....We have also explained the importance of responsible use of any medicine.

Now maybe the mother and stepfather are douchebags contsantly smoking in the house around a minor...and 8 elbows worth is just dumb any way you look at it,,,,,in which case I would say it needed to stop some way.....Need more of the story to make a good judgement....Like for instance did the father try speaking directly to his exwife and new man about the issue? or was this just purely out of revenge?
I totally agree with you, but it's probably not a bad idea to let your kid know that there are a lot of closed minded, uneducated folks who will cast judgement on you whether you use cannabis medicinally or recreationally.;-)

I don't blame the kid either. It's not like his father tricked him into doing it, or he was brain washed.

A criminal complaint says the boy told investigators he had complained numerous times to his mother about the marijuana smell. He finally took the matter to his biological father who told him to take pictures of the marijuana. The father then forwarded the photos to authorities.

So after complaining to her numerous times and trying to keep it a private matter to be dealt with privately is when he finally took it to his father. He didn't even go straight to the police, he went to the father. And you know what, as pro marijuana as I am I would be infuriated to think my ex was sitting around openly smoking weed in front of my kid and keeping 8 lbs in the same house with him. Especially if my kid brought it up as a problem and she didn't correct the issue.

Mom should have been more discrete. Junior warned her. If he complained to her, it is no surprise he would tell his Dad.

I am not convinced the Dad was trying to tweak his ex. It is possible he was just looking out for his kid.

She is a Probation Officer. Without doubt she has re-offended her clients for less.

This is a situation of her making. And I don't have a whole lot of pity for a cog being victimized by the machine.

...I don't even like to smell like ganj around my daughter. Smoking in the house with kids around is not acceptable. Period.

Not trying to start an argument, 'cuz I'm not passing judgement I'm just curious how many have a small grow in the house with kids? Gotta be a lot of folks out there who do.
That PO was a piece of shit and deserved every bit of it for exposing the child to it even after the kid complained, and for being stupid enough not to take corrective action when the kid complained. She HAD to know the kid would go to Dad next!!!
And for doing that kind of shit as a PO!!! I knew a PO back home (went to HS together) and he's the same kind of prick that engages regularly in behavior that they would violate a probationer for. And having 8 lb!!! She HAD to be dealing that!

...weird hey? Kids USED to hang out - outside! Now it's the 'safe place' for parents to smoke :)
My brother and a few of our friends were hiding out by the hen house smoking it up while our spouses, children and grandchildren were in the house enjoying t.v. after thanksgiving dinner.
