So im just starting to grow after being disappointed to find out my dad thought it was to much risk to grow this year. SO I started my own op in my closet without him knowing. New to this so any and all help will be heard and appreciated.

Also it depends on how much money you want to spend. I would recommend for you just to stick with a soil grow. Also remember that the soil has to be free draining so adding some small rocks or something in the soil itself will help with that. I could go on all day. Is there something in particular you need to know?

tell me everything you can, this is my first grow that i am taking the time to research, i have had some ones where i just threw a seed in the soil and watered regularly, this has been a big learning curve so, I cant have my dad notice a big change in the electric bill so wat wattage flouro light you think i should use? I have the sprouts on a 18/6 light schedule with soil from my back yard that i cleaned of roots. Im putting alpaca droppings in the soil tonight, I just got a job at arbys, and expect to get my first paycheck in 2 weeks so whatever i need (pots, miracle gro soil, lights, cal mag) i will get then, I am using a miracle gro plant food that has about every chemical i need i believe except for calcium and magnesium.

dont get MG soil, if you have a bank account order some foxfarm, and if you cant, get some promix at least

what kind of light is that? i cant tell cuz its too bright, cfl? what wattage? your going to need MORE and there going to need to be alot closer unless you want to see some serious stretching

and if pops isnt down with growing the treefer, at least start them inside and move them outside once they are established

Thats is wat i was going to do, the light isnt attached to the the top, it is suspended by twist ties to 4 in above the sprouts, its a flo, 85 watt.

I m gonna move them out of the box as soon as they hit about 6 inches and transplanting them, then i put the light up in my closet for the rest of veg, then for flowering im putting em in 3 gallon buckets.
