Killing the weak; only the strong survive?

Question... When do you come to the conclusion to kill the weak and proceed with the strong only... I am having trouble parting ways with my very underdeveloped plants.. I still have hope for them I guess.

Does it get any easier?

Should I just give up on them, thing is their supposed to be femmies..

i went thru same thing when i started, it gets a lot easier when u see the good ones have all the room and light they need, instead of wastin nutes and elec on weak plants. i kill them now without as second thought, especially now that i have my own femmed seeds, i just plant new ones to replace them. hope that helps. keep growinnnnn!!!

Didn't notice that thread earlier, thanks for the redirect. Some great advice in there and I think you are definitely on the right track to getting them healthy again. Looks like you've got a nice setup, hope you figure it out.

To answer the original question, I only cull the weak ones if I don't have room and light for them or if they are past the point of a speedy recovery. It always sucks to kill something you put time and effort into but I know it will come out better if I only let the strong make it.

i'm no pro on this, used to do outside grows years ago
pretty new inside grower
anyhow, back in the day, i would notice that if i left small plants/big plants alone in the beginning
a month later you'd be hard put to tell the difference
i think there is a school of thought that you should not toss young slow growers
on the other hand, when you have limited grow space, which many of us do, the need to toss is going to be high

Great input that makes sense to me.. At this time I am not short on space in fact I have a large amount of it.. I think I will keep them around til
1) They recover from the abuse I have subjestced them to due to learning again
2) Transplant them into their final home and run them in the flood and drain ebb and grow for a week or so to re-evaluate

Thanks bud ++
