2 pound is slightly under a kilo. i do 4 plants 1000 watt MH in the middle and 2 600HPS above each plant. then in flowering i add a couple more 1000watt MH. i use 100% coco fedding every 4 hours in 30 gal pots. my electric bill is around 2k every 3 months, there is no way around it unless u used diesel generators.
fuck man thats alot of lights. is that what i would need to do? also are you in the uk?
and how long do you veg for?

sorry man its like 21 questions! im just really intrested in giving it ago

A kilo is 36 ounces. Best I have ever had from a single plant is 26 ounces dry - but that was outdoors.

no matter what nutes u use, what strain u have, how much of an expert u are(even though they will help) your yield is in direct relationship with the ammount of light u use how long u veg for and the size of your root mass period. these 3 factors make up 90% of your yield, and u cant pull that much weight with less light

wikid man. well, when i make my first attempt, i think i might just get a 1000 watt hps bulb and some cfls. i no i might not get the kilo that i wanted. but for the first attempt it will give me some sort of idea of what i can yield. and also be cheaper for the electricity bill! once ive got an idea, maybe il increase lights. because i would like to yield a key a plant. would be nice. well i am deffinately gona give it ago really soon. just need to get that bit of cash :)

Tied the girl down, it was in a 50 litre tub. Actually looked a bit like this lady, which is my best this year.

also what light is more effective and cheaper? mh or hps?
they say MH is good for veg and HPS is good for flowering, but i like to use a combination of both. im pretty sure there the same to run, maybe MH is alittle cheaper, i think with MH your buds will be more dense

thats what im doing at the mo lol
if your doing that now then keep doing it, no ammount of light will replace the sun, if i were u i would replace that shed with polycarb panels 55% to 90% light transmitsion, bubble wrap the 90% for stealth and grow 3 or 4 crops a year, u might have to veg 1 or 2 of them indoor, u will yiled so much more and save on electric

yo man, u need hell of a big ass shed mann..but yeah, if u pull it of it would be massive..i would wait for the right season, vegg them outside as long as u can and then vegg them indoor as well 4 some time, but again, u will need a big BIG shed :hump:

Oh, and whats the theme with the strain shit, ofcorpse u need a good strain that can yield like mofo!!!

:peace:

Im not gonna get into this argument but I have to say in theory its possible. First of all thats almost 36 ounces and remember if thats after drying than your talking about 4Kg on one plant. If you were to make it happen you would probably need a huge outdoor greenhouse and do it like the Dutch. Use natural light during the day and have autamated blackout shutters that kick in once it starts to get dark. Then use the Blue spectrum lights to finish the 18 hour cycle. This would allow one to keep a plant in the vegetative stage indefinitely.

This is however theory and it is quite possible their is a cut-off point were the plant losses its ability to flower which happens in other plant species.

Good luck

nah i mean thats what im doing at them mo with 4 girls outside this year. well to late in the uk to start another one outside. its a good idea tho that i will keep in mind for next years season. i just want to do a nice big indoor grow for the end of the year. and hopefully harvest for christmas. like i said id be happy with 2 pounds, just below a kilo. i think thats what im gonna go for. im gonna try what your doing. maybe try doing it with less lighting. i might not get what i want but its all a learning process! im gonna do 5 plants so i hope for about 8-10 pounds.
dont forget it will be lstd too. so that will improve the yield by alot
