Getting ready to pull the trigger on a LED, I was wondering if anyone has reviewed or tried KIND LED? was looking at the k3 L600 model

this is the perfect opportunity to point out the fact that every time I see a post like this inevitably someone will say "why buy when you can make one."

you can make one cheaper, I have seen a lot of them and I am sure they work. They all look like shit, yes they do.

I can invest $$ into a brand name unit and down the road sell it.

I could make my own car out of parts that are readily available but that is not the same as buying a car.

I like Area 51 but the KIND K3 L600 looks good

Well thanks for the reply.....I wish if I was handy enough to make one, but I'm not :(.....They do have a 90 day money back warranty I believe..

I looked briefly but pretty spendy for what you get was my 'amateur observation'. Lots of other informed people that will have better guidance - good luck in your hunt! Just went through this recently and landed on A51 - had Onyx on my list as well. Apache makes great / spendy stuff too!

Do yourself a favor predd, before you buy a Lumigrow do a bit more research about Lumi's and growing weed. I've seen more negative comments in that regard on other boards than positive. IMHO it's a nice product for growing basil and flowers in a greenhouse, not so great for weed. It'll grow it but your initial investment will take longer to get back since Lumi uses mystery binned OSRAMs and if it's heavy on the lousier bins, you're making more heat than light. Plus they ain't cheap. A bit on the overkill side too with all it's knobs and software. Basically Lumi's are a good light for other types of plants and environments and that they get a bit too much hype from their sales department :). Then again the right light in the right growers hand with the right strain can be magic.

Good Luck with your decision!

Not impressed with what I've seen others do with the kind for the price. And I have a friend that has lumigrows and solar storms. I would never purchase either. Ss is hot and the lumi does nothing it claims to. Apache tech, area 51, and rapid led onyx, or for a small space some hans panels.

HGL, Pro grow are What I have and reccomend. HgL if you've got the wallet for it, Pro grow if you don't.

Do you think a combo of the rw75 and onyx bloom will cover a 36"x20" canopy?

That's 5 sq/ft, 30 watts per sq/ft of quality LED will do a great job so that's 150 watts. Because of the shape I would go with two RW-75's,they have a recommended coverage of 20"x20" each.
Thanks man, just don't wanna under do it and come up short come harvest time...

So far I have been very impressed with my kind. I have 4 others advanced D's 100, two ,storms and a pro grow 260x they all CAN grow good dank. But its up to me to make that happen. So far the l6 has made this easier for me than the other lights I have. Just my .02. Hope you rock whatever you choose. There are the best informed LED GURU'S HERE.
