Hey guys so i habe a lady sprouted. Shes Krunkleberry fem seed from freeworld genetics. This is my first fem seed usually i do bagseed. So at the first node one side is normal woth one branch coming off, but the other side of the node has 2 branches coming off. I have not a trifoliate or a quadrafoliate but whatever the word is for 5 branhes i have that in flower, but that on has 5 branches 5 nodes and 5 leaves at the apex but this one is different. What you guys think?20201027_102139.jpg

Thats what i was kind of thinking since the node above it is normal.
Yeah one of the girls i just started first couple sets of leaves and nodes were pretty mutated but new growth is normal other than the fact that the nodes are the closest together Ive ever experienced or seen in person which should mean shes going to have some crazy dense fat kolas.

Yea i usually get a lot of mutations like you said on the first or second sets of growth always on bagseeds. Lile i said this is my first fem bought seed so still learning lol. And that extra branch cant hurt its just gonna be another kola or clone

I pinch off the first branches when they are that size or smaller.

the terms trifoliate/quadrafoliate have nothing to do with number of branches, they refer to the number of leaflets on a leaf.

Damn thats weird lieterally every single thing ive read on them refer to number of leaves coming off of nodes nothing aboit the fingers on the leaves. I mean everything ive read says trifoliate means normally you have 2 sets of leaves coming off of node but tri means 3 leaves growing from node. If you could show me some info on where you got that cause i cannot find that as a definition of trifoliate anywhere

Yea man idk on that one. I dont think trifoliate has anything to do with fingers on leaves. Im no pro by all means but trifoliate means 3 leaves at one node and 3 leaves make 3 branches. So how am i wrong on this one?Screenshot_20201027-142947.png

Google the meaning of trifoliate and if you can find something thats says it means the number of fingers on a leaf then i would love to see it. Not being sarcastic or rude just would legit like to see the proof behind your statement

tri•fo•li•ate trī-fō′lē-ĭt

  • Having three leaves; trefoil; specifically, in botany, having three leaves or leaflets:

This is what a trifoliate is. The word has just been misappropriated by cannabis growers that dont know better.

Ok cool thats what i was looking for. So if i dont have a trifoliate then what do i call a plant that has 3, 4, or 5 leaves and branches growing out of one node?
