I plan on letting it go for 30 days or longer. Not any soonerTwo months for me. Your kind soil should've been good to go though.
So what do your plants look like now? You said they weren't doing very good.I plan on letting it go for 30 days or longer. Not any sooner
They are doing ok . I added a tea to them yesterday even though the kind soil says don't do it . But I haven't been having a great grow so far. The plants are green and growing real slow but they are not doing great they are yellowing from the bottom as though they are hungry . That is why I fed the tea. I will post a few pics later when light comes onSo what do your plants look like now? You said they weren't doing very good.
I would think about flowering the big ones.My base mix is 50/50 mix of coco loco and ocean forest with perlite and some neem cake. Kind soil on the bottom . That's it. I will look into fimming thanks
Good pictures stoni. Phil k was a member of these forums, I'm surprised he never responded to the thread. It's not grower error those roots clearly stopped when they hit that soil. I don't know how he plans on staying in business with that kind of attitude. How can you make it better? Roots grow in search of water and nutrients. If you mixed that soil with something else to dilute it and put the weak soil promix sunshine or what ever on the bottom and the kind soil/promix mixture on top then the roots should grow into the weaker soil. @Bthegreatone Hows that kind soil working out for ya?So here is the deal. I text kind soil last night and explained that my plants would grow really good when I transplanted until they would hit the kind soil and then they would stall and start dieing . I was told that my water was too acidic and that is why they wouldn't grow into his soil . That is the dumbest answer I've ever heard. If the water was too acidic for the plants then they would show problems the whole time not just when they hit the kind soil. He told me that it is NEVER his soil and always grower error. How much error can there be with water only ? I have tried and done every little thing he told me I should do to no avail. Soooo... If you ask me , Kind soil does not work at all. 12 plants and not one of them ever grew into the soil. It looks like 2 different potters inside one pot . Absolute junk from my opinion ! Case closed . Don't use expensive ass Kind soil . You can see that the pots are only 1/2 full. The kind soil is the stuff at the bottom . The guy got super defensive and even kinda nasty blaiming me for messing up his soil and that is my problem . He said it is impossible for there to be anything wrong with his soil. He then sent me pics of other people's grows that looked just like mine but way worse and said ,see grower error. Um No I don't think that is the case . Lol what a waste of time and money !! Tlo here we go! Last pic is of my plants after transplant into the soil I mixed myself . I'm gonna switch them over to the water only thread though as I don't believe this thread deserves anymore play after this last post ! Kind Soil is a No Go from my opinion don't waste your money !!
Lol I let it sit for over 2 months maybe even 3 before I ever planted anything in it. I bought that soil in March . It was definitely composted . I'm not saying it's bad soil for everyone dlftmyers is growing really nice looking stuff in it . Maybe it is me ,but I doubt it. I can say this though, I will be updating my grow , same plants in TLO soil now so we will see how they do in that mix compared to what they have been . Guess that will show if I really suck and ruined his soil or maybe I don't ? Time will tell. _~That hurts, probably could be composted down more and used in the future but worth the risk? I'd probably just dump it in the yard.
If you want something done right, do it yourself. The revised bcga supersoil mix is stellar.

Later Phil.. Hope that ankles doing bettaI know how to grow. Sealed room, stable temps, humidity, ventilation, circulation, stable ph,the right light and water at the right time and plenty of TLC. Just now starting a very small grow with the very latest florescent/led/lec lighting. I will be using Kindsoil and following the maker's directions to a "T". Hope to tell and show you folks how things turn out. My new CO2 tanks should help too. Later.
Hope it turns out better for you. I'm not sure what happened with mine. Must just be grower error. Idk lolI know how to grow. No I don't mean to talk down on anyone and I pretty much guarantee he don't care .The soil just didn't work for me . And I jumped in on this thread a long time ago so I wanted to finish what I started on here.
