Im going to try it tonight, I will use my shiny new razor blades instead of the dollar store piece of fuckery I used to cut the last ones.

Question- I cut 7 clones over a week ago, some have started making some decent roots. Should I wait some more for the others or toss em? I could post some pics tonight if it helps

Thanks man, it was a very pleasant surprise to find 4/6 females. I hope this ratio continues with the rest of the babies. :-D

I topped the taller one and the blueberry the other day, I really need to charge my camera.

I got my first taste of nute burn since the Miracle grow incident that killed my babies. Its not bad at all though, just enough to let me know to back off(I hope) I've got 4 beautiful ladies and a bunch of mutant babies.
The clones are doing very well, roots like whoa. 4/7, I tossed the other 3, and added the top of the tall one day before yesterday.
The aerogarden currently serves as the ICU, anything retarded goes in there, I swear that thing brings plants back from the dead.

Please leave comments, advice, etc.

I feed them mostly kraft dinner and hot dogs.
wait thats my baby, I feed them b'cuzz root stim, growth-c, thrive alive, occasional iguana juice, field of greens and there could be something else, I think it rhymes with otter.... I haven't got the amounts quite right yet apparently but I believe I am close.


Also pretty excited about Bubba kush seeds and lambsbreath clones coming soon!!!!!:bigjoint::bigjoint:

I topped 2 of them, and will keep doing so as they get too big for my midget veg chamber. I wish I would have done more homework on LST before they got so large. Im considering swapping out all the cfls for T5s just so I get that extra 2-3 inches of space. Problem is I have 20 in there and at least 10 more kickin around my garage, seems like a big waste.

I put all my clones into pots yesterday, so I had better finish building the other box pretty quick. :wall:
 
more update pics, potted clones, mutant blueberry is back in a pot as well. fucked up purple indica baby, self topping afghani, and aeroICU doing its thing. back left in aero is purple, back right is afghani, middle right is hempstar clone and the front one is blueberry that will probably end up male due to the amount of stress.

the t5s will be perfect for the top growth
you will def need some lower light for sure
if you can find a way to put those other cfls to use,
if it takes building another grow cab or whatever get a SOG goin
keep a mother or two and take clones to flower build a seperate flowering chamber for em

The wood is cut for the flower box, and the assembly will begin tomorrow, since the recession gave me a really long weekend.
I still have to grab my reflectors and fans but My plan is perpetual SOG. Flower box is going to be 3ft deep, 6 1/2 ft tall, and 6 feet wide. I am putting a 400w hps and a 400w mh. I should probably just go with 2 hps but I have crazy thoughts and I want to see what they lead to.

side note- is that your dog in that picture?

I've got 2 hps ballasts, and a 400w mh ballast now that I think about it(the mh looks like a hobo stole it out of a warehouse). 1 hps bulb and one mh conversion bulb. I'm probably just going to have to deal with those for now, we will see how much flow i've got left after the flower box is complete. Ideally I would have 2 Son Agro or Hortilux or whatever it is with the added blue spectrum.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my reading I've gotten the idea in my head that the orange/red spectrum encourages more stretching. With added blue would I not be able to keep them more compact? That is also the reasoning behind my crazy thoughts. I figured I would have the hps on 1 side and the mh on the other. I would start them on the mh side and work them over to the hps side week by week.

Can you explain 'retarded'? I'm trying to plot myself on a time-line somewhere as far as my grow schedule goes and before I go buy the materials to make a permanent kind of box I wanted to figure out WHY my grow looks off. I'm banking on the fact that my light source has been about a foot and a half away from the plants since they were potted.
