I would contact Cree lol but 1000 cobs you'll be paying taxes for sure from Kingbrite I wouldn't want a lower value on $50,000 worth of cobs.

That bad are your customs officers? I mean most LEDs ordered from China must be extremely cheap. Will they know that Cree ones are more expensive?Yes but someone here on Riu have wrote that theres no more China post shipping by Jerry and onother thing that when package will be stoped and i will declar smaller value than iam done
Maybe there are not so bad at all but its like gambling it can be that i will recive my package by China post without a problem but on the other hand when officers will check it than i have to pay duty and 23% tax wich is a disaster
Probably i will try to order from Jerry later beacose i have allready ordered some chips and driver from mouser and i would stick to them but the problem is that they dont have ideal holders and newark got their storages in U.S.A

Aren't you paying the tax when ordering from Mouser as well? You just shot yourself in the foot lol how much did you pay and what cobs did you get? What bin? did you get the drivers from mouser as well? Sorry but you lost on this order not only did you pay more for the cobs you still paid 23% tax wow

Under 45 € no vat...
I ask Jerry to write an amount on the envelope who is under 45 € and I avoid taxes...
I believe 4 cxb 3590 + holders + hlg = 300 $ max shipped...375 $ if you are not lucky and have to pay vat...so better take the risk...to pay less!
