here's the trainwreck that made it

and one of the blueberry

we jus transplanted 6 blueberry and 1 trainwreck into the small pots, was thinking of going straight to bigger ones coz i hate transplanting too much but i'm gonna be playing a little with lst so these are necessary for now.

decided to germ another two trainwreck and have left one for the dwc bucket which will come later.

at the moment they're not on nutes but i've been adding very small amounts of plant starter and cyco zyme

this is the zyme



and this the plant starter - on ninj and jats advice i got onto this one, she's cheap and works a beaut! i heart bunnings lol it even works on clones




this time round i mixed my usual niks mix

and because the plants never get through all of the goodness in niks mix i mixed it at 50/50 with cyco coco peat

the niks mix is $35 for 40 litres, the cyco coco is $25 for 50

going to be starting them on nutes about mid to late this coming week.

i know, still in the newborn phase. i just love all the stages really, cept for those last couple of weeks when it smells so strong and it's all frosty but just needs that last little bit before ya get yer rocks off lol

I saw that plant starter at Bunnings last time i was there. I am pretty sure its similar to rhizotonic yes? I just had a look on the cyco website and cant for the life of me understand zyme. It starts to get pretty complicated. I need desciptions like... Makes it more leafy, Bigger roots etc.

basically lol it makes sugars that help the plants eat stuff, it helps break down nutes and what not and helps the plants with proteins, zyme hits deep deep inside her so ya dont see an obvious wow, but it aids in their basic cell structure and so they grow and thrive better lol

does that make any sense?

i use the plant starter for cloning on jats advice, just dip the end right in there - and i add a little to my water supply, a little more for when i transplant coz it really helps with shock

coco is coir - peat is a different substance mixed with the coco - it's kinda composted veg matter, can find it in bogs n stuff

last time i found peat in my bog it was a wild party lol. Looking good for under two weeks kmoo. Wot kinda lst u gonna do, are u gonna top/fim em and spread em out?

i'm gonna try pulling her off to the side and training her in a circular fashion round the pot, then a bit o fim i'd say lol DST and Don were dead on with lst - i'm doing it on the clone i have only really half know what i'm doin at the mo but she's comin up roses as it were lol

yeah they're comin on great - one of the germed trainwreck got popped in a jiffy block last night, it's taproot came out running lol the other hasn't popped yet

hey kmoo Nice grow so far. I just picked up some green house trainwreck too so I'm excited to see how they turn out. I'm also just about as far a long as you with my first grow (bag seed) so I'll def keep my eye on this grow. Good luck!

so, so not happy with the trainwreck seeds from greenhouse seed co. - not saying it's a standard situation but one just wont crack at all, and another died once germed! didn't germ terribly well i suppose, the two that have are fine! lol

some seeds are stubern fukers. Ive found the best way to germ for me is to do it in a heated prop and jus plant the seeds in pre soaked jiffy pellets. 3 or 4 days laters the good ones r up and nodding very soon.

oh forgot to mention, nutes came today! yay. started them on already, we had a lil yellowing but we'll come back good n proper! lol

I am glad they came. I read elsewhere that others were getting theirs and yours hadnt arrived which would have been frustrating. Looking forward to the photos.
