imo, if someone is hell bent on going on a killing spree, it doesn't really matter whether they use a gun or a knife, fly a plane into a building or put poison into a bottle of asprin.. sure, guns are used more often simply for the fact that they're available and do a very good job of killing as many people as you want in a very small amount of time... but if they're not available, i'm sure that person hell bent on killing would just move onto the next best option, w/e that would be..Yeah. I was going for the sarcasm. I knew somebody was going to make some remark about how banning guns wouldn't lead to a reduced murder rate, and I had to get on that shit stat.
murders and killing have existed long before guns have been available.. and i'm sure once guns are considered antique weapons, we will be just as sick and twisted and will come out with better ways to kill more people in shorter amounts of time..
imo, we need to look at what is wrong with american society that these type of people exist ... it seems to be more of a social issue then a weapon one imo.
