anyone tried using this for temp conditioning? One frozen 3-liter bottle cools for as long as 48 hours & it's only 40 bucks!

they do work, but you're looking at higher relative humidity after that. you can also build it cheaper. for $40 you're getting a foam panel with 2 holes and a computer fan. you dont even get a cooler!
1. get a cooler the size you want. $10-20
2. buy a computer case fan from a compy store or newegg.com $7
3. find an old ac/dc converter for a cell phone or old portable cd player or whatever to wire the fan to. FREE
4. cut a hole in the lid about the size of the fan blades and mount the fan blowing INTO the cooler.
5. Cut an identical hole on the other end of the lid.
fill with frozen h20, plug it in. should cost about 30 bucks, and that includes the cooler!
