I got this strain from the coffee shop blue sky. I love it! it yields fat and is bomb as fuck. only thing is, its hella hard to clone. I take 100 cuttings and 30 rooted and it took over 3 weeks. every other strain I have had I cut 100 and all of them but a few root. is there a trick that I dont know about to make these fuckers root? I have the humidity built up in the dome I graft the bottom of the cutting I use rapid rooters. anything else I could switch up to make these root?

What are you feeding the host plants?

I've found that the Jack's blossom booster 10-30-20, works best for my host plants for cuttings.

i always check around for kryptonite info cause very little info on it. Anyway, agree with the strain review...bomb! Yieids heavy if you veg it out too, its 1/4 blue dream if we're talking about the same strain.....mendo purps x green crack. The BD is where its gets its yield, i traced its genetics all the way back to some hazes, NL and some acupulco gold on the non mendo purps (clone only) side, the things I do with my time...lol. Some famous strains all thru its family tree. Anyway, I'm getting 100% success rate with roots but they take longer than normal and won't root for me unless I let the RW cubes almost completely dry out, they hate wet cubes. I use clonex, 45 degree angle, scrape the stems, dip them, put them in water-only RW, use a heating pad, and do the dome for only the first week so the cubes dry out quicker the second week. I let the cubes go almost dry and then rewet and let them dry out almost all the way, they'll root one of the times it dries out, I don't think they like very much water. I don't use the rapid rooters cause they are harder to control the dampness in my opinion. I do the wet/dry thing cause I think they need the sweet spot of the perfect dampness. Anyway, get 100% success with this. I would assume if you are only getting 30%, they are just too wet. I usually get first roots at day 12 and they are all out by day 18. ..........And i use a small t5 one foot above and spray them once a day once the dome is off.
Also, it doesn't have anything to do with the mom cause I treat mine like shit, water it only when it droops and very little food so it stays small. Give it a few blasts of GH nutes and toss it under a HPS for a week before I take cuttings. Glad to find another krypto lover....smell, taste, effect, yield, bag appeal, strong stems, med height, even purps out pretty well if you like that....perfect strain. How long you take yours? it says 7-8 weeks but that bs in my opinion. Try going 63-67 days if you haven't, that puts me only at 10/90 amber/cloudy. Thats it in your pic right? Looks like you stole my colas....lol

your right it hates wet cubes. my kryptonite is the purps x killer queen. i let it go 8 weeks 3 days and this is wat it looks like now

I just started using GH's rapid start, I have saved 8 clones that wouldn't root, It now takes 6 days and i have thick roots coming thru my rooters. It used to be 14 days minimum to get 1 root coming thru. This product is awesome and affordable.

A feeding or 2 before you take your cuts off of momma, give her more P than N.N inhibits root growth on cuttings and P will give ya a bit more help.

I no longer like to take my cuts from veg plant,i wait till the around the second week of flower.

try using spring water only for your clones and see if that makes a difference. It's like 89 cents a gal. I am on city water and it took me forever to figure out my tap water was the problem. Fine for plants but had so much bs in it clones would not root. I couldnt even get a house plant to root in a cup of water with it. Try it.

for sum reason the kryptonites started rooting within a week. i put more of a angle on the cut im wondering if that had anything to do with it

I picked up a cut of the Kryptonite. I hope mine is the Killer Queen x The Purps as well as that seems from what I have seen and read here to be exactly what I want!!
