Kudos to two Single Seed Center in-house strains

Happy to report that I have now grown out two strains sold by SSC from their "Platinum Collection." I got a couple of their feminized Cheese seeds as freebies a while ago. I got clumsy and dropped one sprouted seedling down the kitchen sink drain, but the other grew into a nice plant that bloomed intensely purple last winter. I must have messed up the timing of the harvest because the flowers were just so-so last winter, but I got a couple clones off the plant and put them in my back yard in April, approximately. I just now sampled a bud that got knocked loose accidentally and it was way more potent than the flowers I harvested in winter. It has a nice flavor that I can't really describe because I'm not good critiquing like a wine connoisseur and the effects were relaxing and a bit trippy but it didn't couch-lock me.

I also just chopped a Granddaddy Purple from the SSC Platinum line. It was also ass-kicking strong. I can't really say how it compares to Ken's GDP and I don't know the genetic background of the SSC version of GDP. I have grown three or four crops of Ken's and it is one of my favorites because it is the most reliable remedy for my wife's migraine. It outperforms the pills and other treatments she gets from doctors. It does not work every time, but it works more often than anything else. Only downside is it gets a person too stoned to drive or go to work. We have both vaped so much Ken's GDP that we are kind of burned out on it for recreational purposes, but it still stops the old lady's migraines. I hope the SSC version works on the migraines, but if it doesn't, it's still good herb for party purposes. One minor gripe about the SSC GDP: it does not seem to be as heavy a producer as Ken's, but I have only grown it once and I'm definitely not experienced when it comes to getting heavy yields. So your mileage may vary.

I still have one AK-47 seed and four GSCs (freebies that came with another order) from the SSC Platinum Collection and I'm dying to put them to the test, except almost all my available space is taken for now and I also want to test a bunch of other strains. Damn, I wish I had more room.
