Kush Preflowering only 3 weeks old? I'm curious

So I have this kush plant that my friend gave me after it got too big for outside. I've had it for about a week and he says he planted it about 2 weeks before that. Its only like 6-8in tall but it already starts to smell pretty good if you smell it close. I see what I am positive are 2 white hairs coming out. I just don't believe its already preflowering. Is this healthy? Normal? Not a big deal? It just seems soon. Also I added pics so you can see how big it is. I know the pics are blurry but I tried to show the preflowers. You might not be able to tell but if you can and they are preflowers you can see its female.

Its on a 24hr light cycle

I know that plants grown from seed usually show pre-flowers after about 4 or 5 weeks, clones don't usually show pre-flowers until the 12/12 cycle. Hope this helps.

well this plant was grown from seed but I dont know exactly how old it is because I didn't plant it. But it doesn't look tall enough. Its only growing like the 5th set of leaves.

Wierd. If they are two green things sticking out o both sides of the stem, then they are stipules, not pre-flowers.

Is it possibly an autoflowering strain? I'm dont know too much about the strain my friend said it was a Grand daddy kush seed. I've never heard of grand daddy kush before though so we figured that might not be the real name of the strain.

I looked it up and Grand Daddy Kush is a real strain and I think he's right thats what it is. Its a cross breed of grand daddy purple (a plant that is only a clone) and hindu kush. I looked it up and it looks good. And its a female.

It may be typical of the strain. I've heard some strains will show signs of sex even in vegging. But that doesn't mean it going to start budding, so don't worry. If it's under 24hour light then it will continue to veg. won't flower until you go 12/12 just like normal. Nothing to worrry about. Just be glad it's a female

if your growing it outdoors, the light cycle for sunlight is in the budding cycle..... so i'd say its the light cycle maybe? just a thought..... ex: summer 18/6 winter: 12/12

Cool. I wasn't aware some strains sex that early into veg. Very cool. Well shes a pretty lady. I'll post more pictures on the message boards as she grows.

ive heard that if the plant starts to show preflowers and is left for too long in veg then it can possibly become a hermie. idk it this is true but i thought ide say. can anyone help me with this. not to steal the thread but i thought it would be a pertinant question.
