Kushie Kush???

I use GH for my base, Purple Maxx (a.k.a. Snowstorm) and I freaking love it, the trichomes blow up and the purple is a people pleaser, then about 3-4 weeks before harvest use Gravity for a week and see those buds grow and get thick, and I am using Kushie Kush (An) during the whole flowering process love the 0-1-17 lots of sugars but first cycle with the KK so excited to see if its hype or not. So far the humboldt line has treated me very well, and I recommend it to my closest bro's. But what about this KK has anyone used it??? Any opinion on it I would love to know I payed $44 per liter.....so it better work...lol

I dont know about KK, I just dont understand how a supplement can be tuned in to "kush" when there are so many different types of kush out there. Maybe its just a good supplement for indica plants in general? that would make more sense.

I like AN, but that doesnt mean I just buy whatever they throw at me. If I were you id do a side by side comparison, one with all your normal nutes, and another with all your normal nutes + KK. That way you can get an idea of what you paid for.

This is how I usually test new products, after my bud cures for about two weeks I take it out and let 4-5 of my close friends test it (the same people everytime). I have them rate potency, taste, and smell. I also take into account any increase in yield or overall plant health that I noticed. (Make sure you have them test at two different times, kinda hard for someone thats already stoned to test weed lol).

Its alot of work, especially since my friends just think that im testing it for a friend of mine (I trust them, but as a general rule of them I just dont tell anyone that I grow). But its a good way to find out what a product is doing for your crop, and weather or not its worth the price.

Im just really interested in this new Ph-PPm perfect shit thats supposed to be coming out, and weather or not it actually works. It would be nice not to have to worry about the small details and focus more on my grow room instead of my reservoir >.>

Thanks for all your info brother, I am doing a test trial and I will post pic's tomorrow, and then again after 3 weeks, and I'm putting it on a Super Skunk which is a good Indica, I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to try it on a Juicy Fruit next and then a Pot of Gold as well just to see if it wont work with other strains.

I like Pro ph down, it holds great, same every time. I ran out and my store had it on back order so I tried GH ph down and hate it.........use half as much but in the morning its higher than it was, so it was a constant battle. So far Pro ph down has been the consistent one, you ever try it?

I always use GH PH up and down, and ive not had too many problems with it. Sometimes I get a wild swing up, and have to use the PH down. I have never had to use the PH up except on a few soil-less mixes for my mother plants heh.

Pro PH down keeps, and is easier to use, I never have to rase my PH so I dont know if the up is any good or not but Im all about the Pro. Well two days into the KK (An) and no big changes, looks like the Purple Maxx is still doing its thing, the aroma hasn't changed, but its early. When I woke up today I checked my ph and ppm's and WOW!!! My ppm's were over 1700 and my ph was over 6.7........I knew the ph was going to be high (GH PH down...lol) but I wasn't expecting the ppm's to be so high, if anyone uses the KK (An) make sure you hold back on some of your base nut's 2/3's sounds right, but still working out the little details.:joint:

Those are some sexeh plants man. Look a bit tall though, is that strain a pure indica or a indica/sativa?

Heres a huge article explaining PH in much more detail than your probably used to. Take it with a grain of salt because its from growers underground (which is owned by advanced nutrients, they dont hide it), but it does explain why most growers see their PH going up more often than they see it going down (which is very uncommon). Its also written in a way thats not too hard to follow. Alot of your PH problems may come from your water (I dont know what kind your using though), but a RO system isnt too expensive and a great investment.

Yeah bro Ro system is next, I have well water which is hard water and it dose effect my PH. Straight from the tap its 7.8 ph and PPM's are 390ppm which is high and has nothing I want in my little ladies but until then I will tough it out. The plant is tall, I had her as a mom but decided to throw her, I want that closet for all my hair brained ideas and test runs. I took all the clones I could and pruned her way back to better my yield. So she is starched out but I think she is a good looking gal, that top is bigger than a beer can and we still have 3-4 weeks, I just peaked in on her and the trichomes doubled since this mourning, so that was pleasing but thats cuz of the wonderful Purple Maxx. Still looking for first signs of the KK, when the light shut down I will post another pic, should be soon!

I totally respect testing things out before you start praising them. Thanks for being honest about that.

I have to say I have my doubts about anything that says it's going to do everything that I want...and more.

Yet, time and time again, it seems like AN outdoes it in my grow room. Or else I just really have a good setup, not sure what's doing the most, I admit.

I think the Ph-PPM stuff sounds pretty damn good too, I admit it. Don't really have a lot of PH troubles or PPM issues, but I think it would be good to feel like things might stay that way.

Oh, Advanced Nutrients, you are going to make me spend more money....LOL 'make' me spend money.

Good disucssion folks. Hoping to hear from some KK users in the future too. Haven't seen any yet.

I mean, I did some work to look online and I saw some people claimed to have used it and if you look at the Advanced Nutrients website, it seems like it's an amazing deal for growers. Some grandmaster is quoted on there as saying it's worked well for him. Now, I know you can't believe everything, so I've had nothing but good results from AN stuff.

I just wish I could have a definitive answer about whether Kushie is worth looking for. Maybe it just hasn't gotten to all of the stores yet????????????????

What state do you live in? Colorado is selling it in there stores. Still not sure if its worth the money......after this test run I will do another to make sure, but so far its not as noticeable as some of the other products.

Kushie Kush is used instead of Big Bud if you use the AN schedule
its pretty much the same, and cost pretty much the same
