oh boy...A SURPRISE :) I love surprises! Is it a puppy? Did you get a puppy? lol

I hope my bubble babies grow nice and strong like your babies. Makes me wanna go put some perlite on top of my dirt...lol!
Did you end up getting something to test you ph?

Lol whoooaaaa, No more puppies for me!! these two have my hands full already.

That a guy just isn't gifted with haha

And funny you say that about the perlite,
I moved some to check the dirt and roots are actually growing along the surface of the dirt
Pretty cool they must be getting a lot of air under that perlite.

HAHA...I know the feeling, my 2- I swear are the equivalent to 4 toddlers :o

LOVE the video....they look even better, like I was right there looking at them and smelling them! I may have to make a video soon ;)
Is it OK for your roots to do that? I have some roots poking out the bottom of my drain holes...whats up with that?
 
Yea roots coming out the drainage holes are common, it'll be fine.
Some of my roots come out the holes on the bottom too
Eventually they get air pruned, doesn't hurt the plant. I actually read it helps encourage a massive root system.
Which is why people use "smart pots"
Believe me your plants will tell you if they don't like something you're doing .
 
cool man thanks :) I thought about the perilite and remembered I use stinky seaweed and fish guts for food and it'll prob turn it all brown and yucky looking....glad I thought of that...lol! I just wanna use the darn stuff already!
Guess I'll just throw it in the flower garden this summer ;)

I kind of just imagined the smell
And threw up in my mouth a lil lol

Nah , but the original reason I put the perlite on top of the soil was to prevent any bugs from laying eggs in my dirt. I saw some flying gnats early in the grow. They have disappeared since I did it.

I don't know if the gnats came in from the soil or the black domina clones my aunty gave me (yea my aunty is pretty cool :weed: )

11 CFL BULBS 4 T 12'S
@ 537watts
Mix of 42watters, 27watters, and 23 watters
50w t-12 tubes

Gonna taking out some 23watters and swapping them out with more 42watters in the coming weeks.

Your plants are looking GREAT! I bet they get like twice their current size in the next week and a half.
